Title: Possible Copyright Infringement?
Post by: PeterMarshallFan on December 03, 2003, 08:08:22 PM
OK, hear me out on this....

I was watching the new Shop til you Drop tonight, and one of the games played seriously resembled TPIR's Clock Game. JD Roberto would show the team an item, and they had to guess three prices of three items in a minute. They had a $500-$1000 range to go in, and after each guess JD told them if the right price was.....higher or lower than their last guess.

Thoughts? Maybe not serious enough for copyright infringement but a definite ripoff of Clock Game, IMO.

Um, the concept of picking a number and then telling a person if their guess is higher or lower predates TELEVISION, much less TPiR.

Put the lawyers away, you're gonna put an eye out with those.

If the contestants lost, then it might be copyright infringement ;-)
