Article with promo here. (http://"http://www.nickutopia.com/2011/07/12/the-90s-are-all-that-premieres-july-25-at-midnight/") Looks like Double Dare, GUTS and Legends Of The Hidden Temple have found a new home.
Also, off-topic, but I'm excited beyond words to see Kenan and Kel and All That again.

Sweet. Looking forward to Double Dare.
Maybe if this is a success, they'll do the 80's. I'd love to see You Can't do that on Television again.
-
I have a bad feeling that those who have been posting episodes of said shows on YouTube are going to get copyright infringement notices similar to those for "Jeopardy!" & "Wheel of Fortune"...

Last I heard (unfortunately) the rights are at least joined owned by CJOH (now entirely swallowed up in the CTV mega-monster) and Nick, so it might be awhile...
-
That sounds pretty damn awesome. Throw in "Doug" and I'm completely sold.

Nickelodeon did show an episode in 1999 (for Nick's 20th Anniversary) and in 2004 for Nickelodeon's Old Skool Pick.
So it's possible..

What did I ever do to you? :)

Here's the list of shows scheduled to air during the block. (http://"http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_'90s_Are_All_That") Hell yeah, Doug is in there.
-
No Roundhouse... I'm sad.
However, this block has plenty of promise.
The Inquisitive One
/prefers "reprising the theme song" instead of giving a "round of sound."
-
I don't see "Figure It Out" either...
-
The first week's schedule is up on Zap2it:
12:00am: All That
12:30am: Kenan and Kel
1:00am: Clarrisa Explains it All
1:30am: Doug
2:00am-4:00am: Rerun of the 12am-2am shows.
-
I wonder how they'll do this....different shows each night, or the same block for a week then alternate? Nonetheless, looking forward to this.

Interesting to note that the promo features clips from the original Fox version of Family Double Dare in 1988. Supposedly, Nick GAS only aired one episode due to problems that they were having with one Nickelodeon episode.
It should also be noted that of the 40 1990 episodes of FDD, only one never aired on Nick GAS at all for some reason: The Go Getters vs. The Leaping Lizards. It was noteworthy for having a mistake made at the obstacle course where the player doing Inside Out got a different-colored flag than the correct orange one. Marc told them to go back but they did obstacle #3 first.
-
gameshowlover, how did you know about this? I've never heard that story before.
Also, I'm REALLY hoping they air Fox FDD as there's 2 missing episodes that I've been trying to identify, I don't even know the family names! What a great gift it would be if they aired the 13 Fox FDD eps or (on a non gameshow related note) the All That Pilot!

Are you talking about the missing Nick FDD episode, or the story about Nick GAS airing a Fox FDD episode? Just making sure.
-
Well, I was referring to the missing FDD but why not both stories? :P

I heard that last year, a fire at CJOH destroyed most of the master tapes.
/nevermind, the tapes were in a different part of the building

gameshowlover87, how do you know about the never aired GAS episode? I find no indication or record of this episode existing.

I remember seeing this episode way back in my childhood. Someone on YouTube brought back memories of this episode when he brought it up. I think I might even have it on tape.
You gotta believe me. There's no way I would make this up.
-
You gotta believe me.
I certainly do.
I talked to the guy you mentioned, and he said that a clip from the "Go Getters/Leaping Lizards" episode was used in the Salute to Double Dare. I compared the clip to all the other 1990 episodes, and it does not match any of them.

I do believe you now that I've realized my episode count is off. I counted Salute to Double Dare as the 40th FDD90 episode whereas it sounds like the episode you are referring to is the 40th one. By the way, is there any way I can contact you privately?

By PM you mean? No, there isn't. Sorry.

Quick bump: The 90s Are All That Facebook app added a full episode of Legends Of The Hidden Temple, among full episodes of other shows, for viewing online.
