I DVR'd the show just to double-check, and not only is it based on Supermarket Sweep, it's produced by the same people (Al Howard Productions)...

too bad it will take 3 hours to check out as Kmart never has more than one cashier on duty...

So true.  They'd be better off setting this thing in a Target or Walmart. :-)

Untrue.  One recent trip, I got checked out at Customer Service.

TWO!  TWO Cashiers on duty.  Ah ah ah ahhhhhhh!

Our local K-Mart has a 10-to-1 ratio in the parking lot -- 10 employee cars to every customer car.

My local Kmart doesn't seem quite as desolate as most. I think it could be because I live in one of the only towns in the US that has a Kmart but not a Walmart — Wally World's in the next town over, and it's easily the smallest, dirtiest Supercenter I've ever been in. (This store's only 5 years old, to boot.)

Meijer blows just about everything else out of the water, though.

you haven't seen the Whitehall, PA Wal-Mart--so bad they're gonna tear it down.
