Can I get some 411 on this show Face off?  When was the pilot shot?  What network was it for.  Also I found out that Fox TV Distribution holds the rights to Pictureka and Family Game Night.  More details on that please?

It looks like an American version of the French-Canadian show Le Cirque, if that helps you research it yourself at all.

Yes, it is a version of Le Cercle ("The Circle") as seen in French-speaking Canada, also known as La Cible ("The Bullseye") as seen in France in the early 90's.

I am curious that they pick players from the audience - this is certainly not the case in the Quebecoise version.
