Stumbled upon this a while back. Turns out that post-Barry, B&E made some Spanish language game shows through something called Intertelespan.
- Danny Heller's LinkedIn (http://\"http://www.linkedin.com/in/dannyheller\") refers to Intertelespan as "B&E's Spanish language production arm."
- Frank Torres (http://\"http://wwww.viadeo.com/es/profile/frank.torres\") worked at B&E until 1993, which I think is longer than B&E is generally assumed to have been in operation.
- Niels Canelo's resume (http://\"http://www.canelo.com/resume.html\") lists some of these Spanish language shows - Siempre Hay Una Suegra, Adivinelo Con Seņas, and Uno Nunca Sabe. It also mentions an English language precursor to The View called Cristina & Friends with Cristina Ferrare, co-produced with Fred Silverman and Buena Vista.
- According to Entertainment Weekly (http://\"http://www.ew.com/ew/article/0,,318691,00.html\"), Siempre Hay Una Suegra was a Newlywed Game clone involving the mother-in-law that aired on Telemundo.
- For the curious, there are clips of Adivinelo Con Seņas on YouTube (http://\"http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=%22Adivinelo+Con+Se%C3%B1as%22&aq=f\"). Menudo playing charades!
