So, everyone here will want to head on over to their local Barnes and Noble and pick up the newest issue of GQ magazine. It's the one with either Paul Rudd, Tracy Morgan, or Zach Galifianakis and "Laugh Out Loud Funny" on the cover.
Flip over to page 90, and you'll see a caricature of Mel Brooks next to the title "Epic Tales of Embarrassment." There's a short little anecdote of relevance to this board that I won't spoil for you. You'll want to read it.
And no, it's not at GQ.com. You'll have to hard-copy this one.

Without having seen it yet, I'd like to show off my mad Bill Cullen skillz and predict that it has something to do with Eye Guess. Mel Brooks was a guest on a special celebrity week of shows. That's the only time I can put them in the same room together.
/And now my lunch hour includes a side trip.

Thank you, MMM!
A wonderful story that's every bit as much about Bill as it is about Brooks. I'll leave the spoiler intact myself, only to say that it will, of course, end up on my website in the not-too-distant future.
/Summer of 2010 and we're still getting new Bill Cullen anecdotes.

I wonder if Mel Brooks could ever top his 1972 appearance on
"Jeopardy!" as the 2000-Year-Old-Man. Art Fleming asked him
if they played "Jeopardy!" way back then; Brooks replied, "When
we left our caves we were always in jeopardy!"
