I didn't know this until earlier this week, but WSTR (Star 64) in Cincinnati has dumped the syndicated Deal or No Deal from 3-4 p.m. to 1:30 am to 2:30 am.
With such a downgrade in time slots in a market like Cincinnati, it looks more and more like DonD will not be back in any form (network or syndie) come this fall.

My Network dropped it in favor of "Don't Forget the Lyrics" and I don't think NBCU even offered it at NATPE this year.

WWJ in Detroit has had it on after Ferguson since the Fall.

For my money, the show was never able to hit the sweet spot. The primetime show had awful pacing and way out of whack money. The daytime show had an excellent game board, but they dragged at the beginning and went way too fast at the end, not allowing the viewer to savor what should be the good parts.
I will not need a drink to cry into when Deal or No Deal is no longer in first-run episodes.

Buzzerblog confirmed that B&C confirmed that Syndy DoND has been canned.
Well that was fun while it lasted (/sarcasm)

It was still better than what NBC put out. My problem was that they simply sped up the game to make it unlike the primetime version. The bank offers were better, and the payouts were what you see on average for a daytime game show. That was about it, the excitement that I've seen on the British or Australian versions were still lacking...

Oh no worries...GSN will be sure to ram a few more hours (daily) down our throats in the months to come....

Yeah, but has anybody confirmed Buzzerblog's confirmation of B&C's confirmation?

I would like GSN to pick up the syndicated version sometime next year after it goes off the air.
