Title: Davidson Pyramid Question
Post by: cmjb13 on November 06, 2003, 10:18:31 AM
Was watching an episode where John mentioned Terry Lester from Y&R would be appearing the following week. Then before he throws it back to the game, he says twice, he's from Santa Barbara.

Did he always screw up like this? I'm suprised that made it to air.

Yeah, Davidson screwed up on occasion. One example: He wanted to know on air what a cue card which read "Keep Playing" meant when a team had enough points to win the game but were allowed to go on to win the Mystery 7 prize for the contestant.

THat having been said, JD has a four night stand at one of the Atlantic City casinos this week. Maybe I should have gone down there and laughed at his performance :)

Terry Lester was on Santa Barbara at the time of that Pyramid episode.  He played Mason Capwell from 89 to 91.

Davidson was prolly thinking of his former role as the original Jack Abbott on Y&R during the 80s. Incidentally, Lester's replacement as said role, Peter Bergman, also appeared on the Davidson version during its short run.
