Title: TPiR and MDP 2010 calendars for 99 cents
Post by: MikeK on October 20, 2009, 04:38:20 PM
For my fellow Buckeyes out there, all of a dozen or so...

I found the 2010 page-a-day calendars for both The Price is Right and Million Dollar Password at the local Marc's for 99 cents apiece.  As it seems is always the case with Marc's closeouts, availability may vary.  My local store, the Willoughby Hills location, had at least 50 TPiR calendars and 20 MDP calendars.

They managed to get Regis to point at the camera (http://\"http://z.about.com/d/gameshows/1/0/Z/8/-/-/mdp2regislogo.jpg\") 365 times? That is impressive!

Ha.  They couldn't get Reeg to point on the box's front (http://\"http://www.amazon.com/Million-Dollar-Password-Day-Day/dp/0740784943/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1256071443&sr=8-2\").

For 99¢, that is one heck of a deal!

See, he's not pointing at us... he's pointing at the rain about to fall on him.

Seemed like as good a place as any...

I'm getting the TPiR calendar for Christmas (hell, I picked it out) and checked it out before it was wrapped.

The idea is good but the execution...is poor.

One of the games is Money Game. Instead of replicating the MG board, type face, etc it's 9 yellow rectangles with a plain font on a mostly non-descript background.

What's up with MDP getting items? It was a very short run.

I noticed they have a DVD version of box version of the game also. I saw it on Amazon.

I wonder what other "short lived" game shows have had merchandise?
