Michigan is getting back into the lottery game show business with Jonathan Goodson. Chris Knight will host (http://\"http://michigan.gov/lottery/0,1607,7-110--223933--,00.html\") I'd rather have someone from Michigan, but oh well.

Funny they didn't explain why it was canceled after the first season.

As a viewer of WNEM, I'm thoroughly disgusted that THIS is pre-empting Wheel. WNEM loves to pre-empt Wheel.

My first thought is that nothing says "fresh, new and modern" like recognizable background music from the 1970s.

Not if a.) I don't like lottery game shows much, b.) I want my freaking Wheel, and c.) the only other Wheel affiliate has a tendency to show the wrong episode 40% of the time.

Twentington, what other station do you get Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy!,too on besides WNEM-TV?. WDIV or WILX-TV?. Every I visit my sis in Coldwater,MI south of Battle Creek, I watch it on WILX-TV and Channel 10 usually shows them in order.
Twentington, WOF and J! need to go back home to WJRT-TV ABC 12,where they were in the 1980's and early 1990's.

WDIV, in Detroit will be pre-empting Jeopardy!
I noticed in the video promo, they used the logo from the original Nickelodeon version of Double Dare, which Jonathan Goodson was NOT involved with. (I know, there was the G-T version!)

I Think Make Me Rich Will Also air on the web at the Michigan Lottery's Web Site, Doing so will be the third lottery game show to air on the web.

WDIV pre-empting J!?. Which night, Thursday?. Because when the Michigan Lottery had Superplay in the 1970's it originated at Channel 4 after it moved from WKBD-TV 50 and it aired on Thursdays from 1975-78, when it was canned in July 1978,due to bad demographics.
Expect a lot of pissed off Jeopardy! fans in WDIV land.

Here's a useless pre-emption for WNEM. Thursday's Jeopardy is replaced for the annual unwatched Weather Survival special.

For everyone in the state, a reminder that another special will be airing this Wednesday on your local lottery station. I'll try to get it up on YouTube that night for all that would like to see it, but cannot.

Airing on Wednesday in Detroit. Which means Jeopardy gets knocked out both Wednesday and Friday, the latter for the Olympics.

I can get the video, maybe figure out how to upload it. There are a few shots of me in the audience. I attended part of the taping - they take all day to produce that 1/2 hour show. Amazing how long it takes - at least it was to me. Was neat watching people win millions of dollars though.

I finally got the video uploaded to YouTube - glad I don't have to do that everyday - took awhile to get it to work, but now the 10/1/10 episode of Make Me Rich is available for all to see, just search for "Make Me Rich - October 1, 2010".
