It seems that Mr. Springer is getting another gig with AGT, per this article

Not a steal. AGT is a Fremantle property and the Vegas show is being produced by the same folks behind TPiR-Live.

Across the pond, he was the celebrity guest one week in dictionary corner earlier this year on "Countdown."  He took it seriously and actually was coming up with some good words.
