How much air time does it take if Jim Caldwell explains those red boxes?

This came out of nowhere!  I could see this on the DS!  Maybe Ludia's next project after Press Your Luck?

If they buy the rights from the clearly denoted developer SkyZone Entertainment, sure.

I tried the demo version. It's pretty cool, multiple choice questions (as you'd prolly expect), and nice graphics. The "set" looks like a cross between Wink and Jim's versions.

RULES:
Center box is $500, outers are worth $200*, and the categories shuffle after every turn. So yeah, pretty faithful. In the version I played, you play as the "O" contestant, and from what I saw, your "opponent" is pretty dumb.

My biggest gripe is the inconsistency of the difficulty of questions. One question asked about the city known for its cheesesteaks, but another asked about how one of the "24" characters was killed off. Another asked about which video game platform Brittany Murphy likes to use. Weird, but a minor thing.

The demo ends after your front game, but I might just put up the $3 for the full version.

ETA: Okay, the Face the Dragon game is different. No playing to $1,000/Tic and Tac. Instead, you have to clear the eight non-dragon spaces, including Tic/Tac. I picked the dragon, so not sure what happens if you clear all eight.

*I can't remember, but was that the payout on Wink's version?

Almost. It was $400 for the center.

Hope that helps. :)

I'm crossing my fingers for an iPhone version.

I thought the center box was $300.  But whatever.  Hopefully this comes onto AT&T in short order.  In the meantime, I've gotta say that 1 Vs. 100 has become quite the time-killer on the L.

I more wtf'ed at this than anything.  Tic Tac doesn't even seem mainstream (to us, yes...to others, no).

I guess the question I have is...why?  Doesn't seem like a profitable venture.

I think you're right. I don't know why $400 popped into my head.

I apologize for any confusion.

Yeah, I thought it was too, I just wasn't interested enough in confirming it to call normally-reliable Joe on it. :) Good to know I'm not insane. (About this.)
