Title: Deal or No Deal Wii
Post by: Fladam on January 20, 2009, 06:41:42 PM
Deal or No Deal for Wii was release over the last couple days...

It looks like there is Mii integration from the screenshots:

I think this could be a sleeper hit for Wii (considering how many were sold during the holidays).. anyone picked it up?

YES!  I pre-ordered it eons ago and, after waiting through delay after delay, can safely say...

SAVE YOUR MONEY!

OMG what were the delays for?  All of the Howie audio was simply taken from an actual episode.  There is nothing originally recorded for the game.  Good amount of the music is created just for the Wii.  The bank offers don't seem to be in line with what the show's formula uses.

If you have a kid in the family, then get it.  If you want video, audio, just a "realistic" game play then buy the PC game.  OR, better yet, get the UK version for PC on e-bay.

Mind you this is for the Wii (and I am a HUGE Wii fan) so it is nice you can use your personal Mii.  Just remember it will look like a cartoon.  After the months of delays I just expected more.

I knew this would be bad as soon as I went to the page and saw the bulletpoint that it "allows you to play game after game".

Then again, that is a step-up from the DS version.

They got Ben Kingsley to host the Wii version...?
