Title: The Kid's Gotta Be a Host
Post by: calliaume on October 20, 2003, 10:39:26 AM
According to this week's Entertainment Weekly, former game show host Bob Goen Wheel of Fortune is now engaged to be married to former game show host Marianne Curan (Trivia Track/Super Decades).

I just don't want to be there for the Lightning Round, myself.

Maybe Fremantle will actually bring The Better Sex out of the mothballs and have that duo host it.

Who in the game show world do you think will be invited to the wedding?  Will Burt Sugarman be gifting them "Whew!:The Complete Series" on DVD?

Oh, Boden will be there--since they'll have free food.  :)

He may run into Jake Tauber there, who'll come up and say, "Hey Bob, howzitgoin' over at GSN (giggle giggle, snort snort)?"

To which Bob may reply, "I didn't greenlight 'Burt Luddin's Love Buffet.'"

And when they are each 85 years old, and talk about the wedding, she can ask him: "When did that happen"?  To which he'll say: That doesn't matter, honey.  We're a "perfect match".

Hopefully neither of the two will overdo the drinking at the reception -- I'd hate to see either of them Blackout on their wedding night.

...or have Bob actually spin the wedding cake and the guests buy the wedding gifts

*I'll have the toaster in the green wrapping paper for $40*

Will John Tesh sing at the reception?

He might play the piano.  Other people sing on his records.

OT but:  How you can tell the difference between John Tesh and Jim Brickman:  R&B singers perform on Tesh's records (like James Ingram), country and CCM singers on Brickman's records (like Martina McBride).
