In the bonus game, Jack usually asked the contestant if he/she was right or left handed. Why was that?

There were two different pens, as one pen with a long cord would probably get in a contestant's way.

What if a contestant is ambidextrous?  Could they use both pens simultaneously, thereby decreasing the amount of time required to circle an answer??
