Granted, this is Wikipedia, so take it with a grain of salt...there is some light to how the long-awaited revival to Password is played.

I'll give it to Fremantle: they actually changed the format of the game without killing its essence. Count me as intrigued.

"Amalgamation" sounds like the kind of word they would use in the million dollar round.

I recall saying the very same thing after reading initial reports of the Temptation format prior to its debut.

NEVER underestimate Fremantle's ability to completely annihilate a classic format.

Can anyone tell from the promos now running if they at least keep the staging of two seated pairs of players with the host at the podium in the middle for the main game? It looks more to me that the players are standing face to face in the round.

It's already been reported here that they do not.

they're always standing at their podiums : Regis at 12 o'clock, podium with 2 players at 4:00, other podium at 8:00.

podiums removed for bonus, though Regis' stays. Two players stand at 3 and 9 O'clock.

Looks like Chairs are too expensive for Fremantle.
