While watching a couple of VHS tapes with others the other night, we got into a conversation about contestant and post card names (used in drawings) and these questions came out...
1) What was the LAST game show that gave a person's full name AND their full address (either as a contestant or a home viewer that sent in a post card)?
We saw an old Cullen Price Is Right where there was a home viewer winner and they said something along the lines of "Mrs. Francis Irving of 226 Lombard Avenue, Boston MA".
2) What was the FIRST game show that never mentioned the last name's of the contestants?
I went to say Dawson's Family Feud to a point as some family members (in-laws, cousins,...) of each team did not have the same last name as what was listed on the board, but we were looking for a show where all players were on a first name basis only.

I can't remember if they did or not, but I wanna say at the earliest, Ruprecht's "Supermarket Sweep". For some reason, I wanna say that if contestants gave a last name, it was optional.

Either that or the applause drowned out the last names.
"He's named Frank! Clap it up for that!"

The earliest I remember is the USA Network edition of The New/$40,000 Chain Reaction (1986-91).
I'm pretty sure that Rod Chalebois only introduced the contestants by first name.

He's probably still cursing (in a family-friendly way) the producer of whatever show it was.
