I have to say, this is an unusual taping location..... (http://\"http://sev.prnewswire.com/entertainment/20080107/LAM08507012008-1.html\")

Taping from the CES is quite odd...
I hope they have a studio blocked off to keep out the inevitible noise levels that will be coming from the Consumer Electronics Show. The crowd is nowhere close to being as quiet as those at the Sony Studios.
I like this creative, outside-the-box thinking; I just hope they have their bases covered.

What? A Sony PR release that mentions CES but not Blu-Ray? Unpossible!

Sony needs something to motivate their people...the PS3 sure isn't doing it for them. :)

/Wii60 for life...
//back to topic: it works if they keep the studio quiet.

Maybe they're going to be using the PS3 as a consolation prize for 2nd place.
/And third place gets 2.
Anyway, it's neat. I like it. I hope they can pull it off.

I would think they'll just tape the episodes after the show closes for the day- Checking the CES website, (http://\"http://www.cesweb.org/attendees/default_flash.asp\") they close at 5-6pm (and one of the show locations is the Hilton, where they've taped before...)-4 days for 10 episodes is doable...

I would think it will be in some Vegas showroom at either the CES hotel or one nearby. The CES is much larger than just the one hotel. My company actually has their hospitality suite at a different hotel, and it is never short of guests.
--Mike, enjoying the quiet since half my wing is in Vegas right now, and enjoying a little weather hilarity: Ann Arbor High Forecast=61F, Las Vegas High Forecast=51F.

I suppose Paramount may have taken care of that (http://\"http://groups.google.com/group/tvbarn2/browse_thread/thread/ef8bd9663039b2a7#4ae6adea10a89547\");)
