Which ought to give some of us some indication of how long WE'VE been doing this, since a lot of us early adapters were discussing the development and the planning for a 'game show channel' on Usenet years before GSN actually launched!

Technical definition: from Wikipedia (http://\"http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Usenet\")

Laymen's definition:  alt.tv.game-shows, a Internet newsgroup.

My have times changed with GSN.  You were the cute little channel that was neat to watch.  Now yer the grungy, repetitive teenager who wanted to get away from its roots.

At least now it seems the network is focused on Game Shows again. And the late night block has been a lot of fun to watch.

The fascinating thing on the old newsgroup these days is the spammer who seems to believe (sincerely?) that British intelligence has been harrassing/spying on him for years.  Those stories and examples (which he's sent to a lot of mostly unrelated newsgroups) are weirdly cool.

Yeah, I can't figure out if that guy is a crackpot or a spammer trolling for addresses when people email him to tell him he's a crackpot. That he's insane AND knows how to crosspost to the entire world raises a red flag with me.

And to think...today was the day GSN was removed from my cable lineup.  Great BD present for GSN.
