Title: A sad day in the history of fee plugs
Post by: tvrandywest on October 28, 2007, 08:46:21 PM
My mood plummeted like a runaway cable car decending Nob Hill when I learned that the creator and marketing genius behind "The San Francisco Treat" (with whom I share a September 29th birthday) rang the proverbial big cable car bell this week.

The Viscount of Vermicelli is no more (http://\"http://www.nytimes.com/2007/10/23/business/23dedomenico-backf-obt-34-07.html?em&ex=1193284800&en=dc6d22f764d24a9a&ei=5087%0A\")   ;(

And everyone on the board mills around while they find a way to tell the resident VO guy that he's a week late to the party (http://\"http://gameshow.ipbhost.com/index.php?showtopic=13889\").

I wouldn't have phrased it quite like that. It's hardly a party when someone passes away. But yes, discussion is going on in the Celebrity Obits section.

OK, move or delete the thread. But wait until the Italian Anti-Defamation League catches wind of this.

Between burying the story of this DeDemonico guy, that stunt when Joe Gargiola's son embarrassed his dad on TTTT, Joe Farago's fall from the "B" list, Dennis James' being screwed out of the TPiR host gig, and what happened to Phil Rossi, it's just a matter of time until some Guido brings down this whole game show world of ours. Kapeesh? You heard it here first!

I'm gonna make a call to my uncle Geno, the head of the Hollister M***a.

Wait, he's dead too.

Uh oh.  I think they're already upset with us over Craig Karlberg. :-)

They have far bigger fish to fry. Matt's white-boy usage of "goomba" and that dude who was on DoND, for starters. :)
