Most notably-returning champions.... (http://\"http://www.thefutoncritic.com/news.aspx?id=20070919nbc02\") (and if they make it that long, the TV theme show sounds cute).....

And the chasm between "getting it" on The Singing Bee and "Foxing it" on Don't Forget The Lyrics continues to widen.

I'm starting to like this show more and more. They seriously GET IT.
My biggest gripe is that they don't offer consolation prizes to the castoffs, but I'll be just fine.

Apart from Price and "Jeopardy" nobody's getting cases of Turtle Wax any more.

Actually, Jeopardy offers players $1,000 who end up in 3rd place, and $2,000 for 2nd place. Wheel has a similar $1,000 house minimum, as well.
I think TPiR is the last current game show to offer actual consolation prizes, in lieu of cash.
