So I played the online "Power of 10" game last night, and this morning, CBS sent me the promised email with my results:
TRY AGAIN
Your score is 192.
This score does not qualify you for consideration as a potential on-air contestant with POWER OF 10.
My question: Was "192" a decent score, a horrible score, or what? Did anyone actually "pass," and if so, with what score?

I got a 242. I think you get points based on how far you are off from the percentage. (i.e. 13 percentage points away means 13 points added to your score.) As in golf, the lowest score is the best score.
This is just a quick guess.

Oh wow, quite a few of us did really bad then.
To date, I'm 9 out of 10 on the money questions on TV, and I've been real close on at least 80% of the tossups. Yet I bombed with a 177 last night.
My friends didn't fare much better. My wife Andrea did the best out of us with a 155, and Robert Brown and David Hammond got 161's.
This is very humbling for a start. Well, looks like we oughta break out the Card Sharks and practice up.

Someone I know from another board got 117 and passed. I got 147 and did not pass. Another post on that message board mentioned seeing someone post about getting a 99 and receiving a phone call from the show and them sending her a questionaire. This is the message you get when you pass the test:
"This score qualifies you for consideration as a potential on-air contestant with POWER OF 10.
POWER OF 10 may follow up with you for further evaluation and/or instructions. The selection of on-air contestants is within the sole discretion of POWER OF 10."

168.
No pass.

My dad and I took the test together and he got a 153. No go.
-
128. Pass.
I auditioned in Atlantic City, as well, so I don't know what else I can do to help my cause here. :)
-
136, pass.

Were I a betting man, I'd say the cutoff appears to be about one-fitty.
