Title: Thursday Night Is Game Show Night on Fox

Per Broadcasting & Cable, (http://\"http://www.broadcastingcable.com/article/CA6465318.html\") Fox has decided to pair up both of their popular game shows for their Thursday Night Schedule.

Gonna be a tough ratings road, though, going up against powerhouses like "Grey's Anatomy", "CSI" and "The Office".

"5th Grader" gets to compete with "Ugly Betty", "Survivor", and "My Name is Earl/30 Rock" in its slot.

"Lyrics" gets to compete with "Grey's", "CSI", and "The Office/Scrubs".

"5th Grader" can probably hold its own, but "Lyrics" is gonna get slaughtered.

It might do okay in the ratings. With TIVOs, VCRs, torrents, You Tube and eventual DVD box sets every season available for scripted series, more and more people I know opt to watch the game shows in real time and save the other stuff to watch at their convenience.
