Cliff MacMillan (http://\"http://www.gsn.com/buzz/showthread.php?t=91397\") of BCI has made a posting on GSN's message boards asking the members their what episodes they would like to see.

One poster's wish was "DVDs are tested properly and that they aren't defective."  I would have to echo that sentiment.  I'm sorely dissapointed that I haven't been able to view the entire collection.

DeepDiscountDVD didn't make me much happier when they said they were unwilling to replace my set.

I was able to get a replacement during my second semester of college...

Because I got my copy for Christmas, and I wasn't able to get a replacement.

I'd like some clarification here. Are people contacting BCI, and they are denying their is a problem, or are they telling you "tough berries?"

I contacted BCI and got a replacment disc with no problems.

And this is why I'd like clarification from the people who have said they "couldn't get one", because we have two directly conflicting stories about BCI's customer service right now, and I have no idea which one to believe.

As it happens, I just found out that the poster who "couldn't get one" never tried actually, you know, contacting the people who actually produced the product.

While this surprises me a little bit, if it's not a shipping problem, instead a genuine (and, apparently, intermittent) defect in the product, then it's not on DDDVD to replace it. I notice that everyone who has contacted BCI has gotten satisfaction.

Wonder if the all-star set will include an ep where Sammy Davis Jr. and his fam played against Steve Lawrence and his fam (forget who the other 2 teams were)...I've seen publicity pics from the ep turn up on eBay, but it's never aired on GSN.

I think that could have been a problem with getting his clearance to air the show.  For years, GSN never aired the first week of the '82 version of Tattletales, which he was on.  The last time they aired the show, they aired that week; so presumably they finally got his clearance.

That might give us hope that the Family Feud week in question will eventually turn up.
