A few things I thought about recently about the game board on CC... a) what kind of computer was used to generate the board, ie, was it an Amiga, or some kind of dedicated video CG generator, or something else perhaps; and b) was the rebus itself loaded as a file in the computer, or was it keyed on from an art card?
Also, a quick search doesn't bring up any mention that CC premiered 20 years ago yesterday, so Happy Anniversary to CC, hoping to see Concentration on our screens again sometime, somewhere in the future.

"The Classic Concentration board utilized two IBM PC-compatible computers. One
computer generated the numbers and revealed the output of the second computer
which contained the prizes, which revealed a still-store device which contained
the puzzle. There was a custom-built control panel which interfaced with the
computers. Ted's son Corey programmed the computers, which used Targa graphics
boards, in "C". Corey also did the second version of Blockbusters."

That would be Cooper, IIRC.

which means, for Gus, that the puzzle was probably drawn by hand, then shot on an art card and captured into the still-store, which is what was ultimately used during production.

I gotta imagine all the puzzles you saw Marjorie, Alex and everybody posing with were indeed those art cards.
