This company's Game Shows Volume 1 DVD isn't very good. The episodes' commercials are edited out. The episode of IGaS is heavily chopped up. (I'm keeping it because I don't have this episode on any other medium and I remember watching this episode when it was broadcast originally.) What are the Odds isn't even a game show! The packaging says the DVD featues Groucho Marx and he is not on any of the programs.

So what did the company say when you complained to them?

I bought that disc at Kroger for a dollar.  I like old television in general so I it didn't disappoint me, plus I got a chance to add a Jan Murray and Sonny Fox show to my collection.  Heck, I even got a plastic DVD case with it so I think I got my money's worth

Not long ago, Burger King had a promotion where you could buy a series of three Xbox games for $3.99 each. The games themselves, no great shakes (although I did enjoy Big Bumpin' quite a bit), but the real find there was the keep-case, since finding spare Xbox 360 cases (which are in a certain shade of translucent green) can be a trick.

I couldn't find the packager so I complained to the EBay seller. She was gracious and promised to send me a Groucho Marx DVD.

The Groucho Marx DVD arrived yesterday. There are four episodes of The Best of Groucho version of You Bet Your Life. The first clue that this is a bargain basement DVD is the cover blurb says, "Say The Magic Word, and Win A Hundred Dollars!" It's not bad even though the third episode is out of synch; the audio is a fraction of a second ahead of the video. It's a keeper because it is a freebie and I don't have these episodes already.
