The memorable $250,000 History IQ championship game from June 22, 2001 airs on Saturday, April 14 at 6 am on the History Channel.
For those of you who don't know, John Davidson (no, not that one), Robin Grover and Lezlek Pawlowicz play for what is still the biggest prize ever awarded on a cable TV game show. It is a memorable end to a 40-episode, 81-player tournament.
Of course, that was the last episode of History IQ before History Channel sent the show to the Saturday am ghetto, despite a loyal and vocal fan following. Fans are still hoping for a resurrection, and last year I suggested on this board what a revival could look like.

I am absolutely beyond outraged* that anyone would giggle when Brian is merely posting this information for the record.
*"Unsurprised" is beyond "outraged" in the dictionary.

I don't mean to snark on someone who's already on moderated status, but what was memorable about it? Other than Leszek P. making an appearance, I don't remember a darn thing. I don't even know who won all the money.
And I enjoyed the show, but please tell me who expects hopes for a revival other than you, Henke. I'll gladly eat my words if I'm wrong, but I think this is just another opportunity to feed your ego and ignore and mistake any constructive criticism as someone sniping.

Now, now. He said "hoping", not "expecting". Brian's digs himself enough of a hole without you putting words in his mouth. Additionally, it was an insanely exciting final.

Well, it is Easter, after all.

And Harvey was a six-foot-tall rabbit! It all makes sense now . . .
