Not to pimp my own site or anything (even though I am in fact pimping my employer's site :)) but a ridiculously addictive game in the same vein is Peggle (http://\"http://zone.msn.com/en/root/deluxe.htm?code=112330860&RefID=25\"). I mean, insanely. You'll hate me, it's so addictive. :)
I gotta think poor Jack is gonna be hearing from some lawyers soon, seeing as Plinko has got to be a copyright or trademark or whatever of the show, and he's making money off of it.

Interesting legal issue. (And Jack's been around for a while, so we may have had this conversation before.) Peg board games certainly predate Plinko, and Jack's don't seem to have anything to do specifically with the TPIR version. He doesn't even say anything about TPIR on his site. He just uses the name 'plinko' to identify his peg board games, quite possibly in the mistaken belief that this is the generic name for them. His customers certainly know what he's talking about, and don't expect Bob Barker to deliver it for them.
Without an 'as seen on TV' sales pitch to point to, I think we could very easily be in a coke-kleenex-xerox-tivo situation where the thing is bigger than the trademark.

But he uses the name. If he just called it "Pegboard", or something catchier, golden, but he's saying quite directly that it's a Plinko board, which, while IANAL, is pretty much screaming where he's ripping the idea off of. If he's using a trademarked name (unless it's not, in which case the TPiR folks are morons and you'll be seeing Plinko Brand Disposable Douches at a drugstore near you as soon as I can get them in there), and using it to promote his product, I don't see where that can be legal if TPiR wanted to pursue it.
The PC game that Alfonzo linked, on the other hand, is a straight-up violation, assuming they haven't already worked something out. I downloaded it and played it for a little bit (and was underwhelmed, but that's my own opinion, other's M may V), and I gotta say that the base game looks EXACTLY LIKE a Plinko board, down to the score readout connected to the upper left side and the radial colors on the background. There is NO WAY that they could have taken the design from anyplace else.

Oh my goodness, that *was* addictive!
I couldn't have bought the full version faster enough! :-)
Wow, Chris... First Firefox, now this!

Yeah...I haven't yet, but I'm going to. Probably tonight, depending on how late I get home from the Carbonated Games / Penny-Arcade ping-pong match. And if I never play it again (and rest assured I will play it again), I've STILL gotten my $20 out of it.
We have our own Peter Sarrett to thank for getting me addicted in the first place. His horse's head will be delivered to his door shortly. :)

Oh, I got a million of 'em.

Not so fast, Chris. I already own Plinko Brand Reusable Douches. Try and infringe, and I'll be forced to litigate.

Man, there is totally a joke about a douchebag with Bob Barker's picture on it, but I don't know if it would be appropriate to make it, or simply praise the designer for marketing genius. :)

It wouldn't be a marketing success unless they used it as a product on the Grand Game, right after Newman's Own Spaghetti Sauce.
(I was gonna include a quick product description for Rich to read, but that would have been in poor taste.)

I wouldn't touch that with *my* Plinko stick, even if it *was* Springtime fresh...

Coincidentally, I was going to attend a class in gynecology this semester, but I couldn't find an opening.
