Title: Shatner interview in Time Magazine

When asked why Show Me the Money was cancelled, Shatner says its because the player was forced to play until the rules said he had to go. He continued to say that the fun is watching a contestant get comeuppance when he gets too greedy.

Because when I want to hear an expert opinion about the quality of a game show, I turn to T.J. Hooker himself.

I'd ask Lee Majors instead. At least he hung out with Markie Post a lot.
