Title: BCI to distribute more Fremantle game show DVDs

As reported on BuzzerBlog and Game Show NewsNet:

BCI has inked a five-year North American DVD distribution deal with FremantleMedia Enterprises, which houses dozens of classic TV quiz shows, including The Price is Right and Family Feud.

The first titles to hit shelves haven’t been specified but are expected from the Navarre-operated label in 2007

BCI was the publisher of the recent Match Game DVD that was released a little while ago.

I talked to BCI, and they said more informatino from them would be released at NATPE on January 16th.

Just take note that it doesn't say they will release The Price is Right, just that Fremantle owns it.

I hope they do though!

Speaking of Match Game DVDs, is that DVD edition home game that was advertised a while back officially a dead project now?

I can't put my finger on it right now, but I sent an e-mail to Endless and they said it would be released June or July 2007.

I'd be inclined to think the same thing--if they refuse to lease them to GSN for anything other monetary reasons, why would anyone think they'll allow them on DVD?

More likely I'd expect some more volumes of Match Game.
