NBC is shooting a pilot for the show Nothing But the Truth, which is sounding like The Chair without the trivia. Basically, as it reads, the more you answer without blipping I suppose, the more you win. You are given the choice to stop at certain levels. I really miss The Chair after reading this.

Oh goodie! Hot Seat revived for the 21st century.
I don't suppose they'll try Money Maze next?
-
Every Jim Peck show has now been revived except "The Big Showdown."

It seems like only a very tenuous revival of Hot Seat, though. From this, I'm gathering they're gonna sit someone down and ask them potentially embarrassing personal questions, and so long as they don't trigger the machine, they'll get money. And as the money gets bigger I'm sure the questions get more embarrassing.
Basically it sounds like incredible schlock. Hot Seat was no winner, but this would make it look like Pyramid by comparison.

Which, in my opinion, should have been the FIRST to be revived.
Nothing But the Truth...would be ironic if Maury Povich hosted.

Ronnie Greenburg and Dick Clark tried shopping around a revival after the failure of The Challengers. Wrong time, and no takers.
(Well, You Don't Say hasn't been revived, if you want to be technical.)

Or "Twin Cities Today," which brought Jim to Minneapolis/St. Paul after the game shows went south. I never could figure out how they got such a big star.
