I think I read a post 2-3 years ago that a man killed himself after he was kicked out of a Nowegien (or a European) Survivor. Unfortuantely, the cameras did not catch this.

It was the original Swedish version of the show, known as Expedition Robinson, and the suicide came well after the contestant had gone home.
A boxer on The Contender also killed himself after participating but before the series had aired.

A Bulgarian television crew, including celebrity Slavi Trifonov, were evacuated from a Caribbean island when Hurricane Chris hit on Saturday, a newspaper revealed.
By that time, it was already merely a tropical depression, a step down from tropical storm.

The mods do, I think, a good job of policing the boards. They recognize that there is a need -- and it's useful -- for there to be some commentary of the type given most deservedly to Chumley. They'll lock down the topic if -- and when -- it gets to be abusive, just as they always do.

I just got back from a week in San Francisco and didn't have reliable Internet access, so I didn't know about this until now. Having met Chumley in person and even shared a hotel room with him and Randy Amasia for several nights, I thought I could trust him when he promised not to do this sort of thing again. Obviously I couldn't, and I'm disappointed.
Without going into details, suffice it to say that I don't think you'll be seeing much from him in the future.

No offense Dave, but you can't just say something like that without expanding upon it. Charles said something juvenile, stupid, insensitive, just flat out dumb. As opposed to some others, I hope he doesn't become "Horanized" for it, though given his history, I won't lose sleep.

As much fun as it might be to play dictator, that wasn't anywhere near my intent. We tend to go into greater detail when someone actually has been banned and when we believe that others can learn from the example of behavior not to be emulated. Chumley technically hasn't been banned (at least not yet) and having examined all of the evidence, not just what's public, I consider this a sufficiently unique case that I doubt anyone else will follow in his exact footsteps.
