Title: Retrocrush picks top GS hosts

If you haven't seen it, the pop-culture site Retrocrush lists its Top 30 Game Show Hosts of All Time. (http://\"http://www.retrocrush.com/archive2006/hosts/index.html\")

To answer two questions before you go see it:

1. Bob Barker isn't No. 1; you may be surprised at who is.

2. Guy Smiley at least didn't make the top 10.

I dont understand why people like Lange, Ludden, Marshall, Regis, or Kennedy could all be below #18..Rayburn at #1 isnt a bad choice but my #1 would be Cullen..

Hey, I'm behind any website that contains the phrase, "According to the Bill Cullen Homepage..."  Of course, the next sentence said that Bill was the "...well known Pyramid host before Dick Clark took over the hosting responsibilities," so maybe they didn't use my resource to its fullest potential.

Just another silly list based on one person's opinions.  His #1 choice is much more a nod to the show than to the personality.  And I'm a little alarmed at Beverly-like rampant use of unattributed images from other people's websites to make their page pretty, ESPECIALLY since they used an obviously (and comically) photoshopped TPIR picture without realizing it.

I have some *major* quibbles with the order but there I would make  no changes in personel.

Well, with a list of thirty, it'd be hard to leave any major (or even middling) hosts out. Pretty much anyone you could argue a top ten spot for was represented.

I guessed the #1 host (with the warning that it might surprise us), but being somewhat familiar with the general content of Retrocrush, I thought it wasn't too hard to guess.

And you have to love the inclusion of Don Francisco!!!  It's amazing the oldie hasn't had a heart attack with all of the silicone that's been bouncing on his show over the decades.

Don Francisco is a stud. I bet that guy gets more 'tang then your average Space Shuttle mission.
