Title: King Of The Hill (pilot)
Post by: dmota104 on July 03, 2006, 07:51:46 AM
If you've seen the KotH pilot, hosted by Robert Earle, and ever wondered what the 10th step's category sign read, wonder no longer.   Take a look at this image from a website of CBS engineering alumni...

...this photo was probably taken after shooting for the KotH pilot wrapped up.  Notice the champion/"king" descending the staircase.

The final step's category is "The Numbers Game".  As to what the category entailed, to quote Mike Burger in his review of the pilot on MikeBurger.com/pilots, "The world will never know."

If you take a little time to wander about the rest of the CBS retirees website, you'll see some other behind the scene pictures of the East Coast facilities, as well as a list of all the CBS announcers, and a nice listing of all the NYC studios used by the Big 3 networks.  Nice find!!!
