For a bit of game show comedy.
Be warned of some crude language, however.

Me neither...I thought Mad absorbed it a couple of years ago.
That being said, I actually found the article pretty funi. :-)

Same here. This was a lot funnier than the Cracked magazines I used to read, too.
The author's name rings a bell... if this is the same Matt Wilson I'm thinking of (and it seems to be his style of humor), he has some other (non-game show-related) work (http://\"http://bonusstages.com/\") that's worth checking out.

Cracked is trying to re-invent itself as a more adult magazine, much in the style of the old "National Lampoon" (during the years which it was actually inventive). No, it was not absorbed by Mad (which is now technically owned by DC Comics), but it went through several ownership changes in recent years.

Hasn't "National Lampoon" been trying to re-invent itself as a more adult magazine, much in the style of the old "National Lampoon," for about 25 years now?
It appears that by making it more adult what they mean is throwing around dirty words. Not that I have anything against dirty words, but they aren't funny on their own. Best just to stick with the Onion.
But does anyone know what happened to John Severin, the terrific artist they had that did the covers and most of the parodies back in the day? He was the main reason to pick it up.
