Something I want to make sense of for myself.
Up until now, I've read that fine print during Deal Or No Deal's Lucky Case game. It said that the contest ran from February 27 (when the season started) to June 8 (when I presumed the season would end).
But now, tonight, it says the game will end on August 31.
So this leads me to ask a question: Has the current season of DoND been extended to go first-run through the summer, OR are they going to show reruns during the summer and still run the LC game (like they did with the rerun this past Friday)?
If there's anyone that can find out when taping for the current season is supposed to end, that would help greatly to answer this question.

As mentioned quite a few times already on the forum, DoND is getting the summer off.

Well, I know that it's been said that the show was taking the summer off. This just threw me a little off guard, so I wanted to make sure.
But while we're here, I'll ask another thing. A friend of mine wants to try out, but on the last line of the application, he spotted something. It said, "Be sure to include a photocopy of your driver's license."
Here's the problem: He doesn't drive. Never has. So he doesn't have a license.
Will this be a problem for him? Can he even try out?

Probably only if he doesn't have a state-issued ID card, either.

Not sure how it is where you're at (NJ?), but in PA, if you don't have a driver's license, you have an ID card - photo and everything, it looks exactly LIKE a driver's license, but just doesn't say "driver's license" on it. Hopefully other states do this, too.

Other states do do this. Including mine.

In NJ you can go to your county and get an ID, but it isn't mandatory to have if you do not have a driver's license.

Give it time. This administration still has almost three years left.

And that's fine. However, and especially on a board where you know people run like hell to their keyboards in an effort to be the first to report on the least little thing, it's just considered polite to do a cursory search whenever you are thinking of reporting news of your own. And in this case it didn't even require opening a thread, since someone else pretty much titled their thread something akin to that.
