What a piece of news, even if the game is probably somewhat second-tier:

I think this is now the oldest GS known to survive on tape, as it pre-dates the extant eps of "College Bowl" by about 6 months.

I love it when new stuff turns up.

Although I don't believe it's the oldest GS on tape. There's an episode of "Okay Mother" hosted by Dennis James for the DuMont network from 1947 (at least that's the year I was given when I received it).

The episode of Okay, Mother that you have is a videotape copy of a kinescope.  The episode of Top Dollar to which Kevin is referring is an original videotape.
