DoND almost beat NCIS for second place in 18-49 behind the - surprise! - monster AI numbers. It was 3.4 for NCIS vs. 3.3 for DoND (http://\"http://medialifemagazine.com/artman/publish/article_3156.asp\"). NBC execs will probably notice. The overall race was more lopsided for NCIS: 9.7 vs. 6.1 (http://\"http://www.zap2it.com/tv/ratings/zap-ratings022806,0,1729161.story?coll=zap-tv-ratings-headlines\").
DoND is showing strength in the traditional pain spot for game shows: 18-49. If that 3.3 number against AI doesn't sound thrilling, consider that NBC was averaging a 3.1 season-to-date 18-49 number (http://\"http://medialifemagazine.com/artman/publish/article_2731.asp\") before the Olympics. And it wasn't competing against AI in every time slot.
With some pretty pathetic competition tonight, DoND should score a comfortable second overall and in 18-49 against that talent contest.

That is interesting with the 18-49's.....and we had it figured it was going to be 3rd anyway. Tonight could be a really telling night, as there isn't a really solid schedule on the other networks other than AI and perhaps ANTM in the 18-49's.

You mean the one that's on at 9:00P, after DoND ends? I doubt they're terribly worried about that.

Sorry about that. It was late in the day, and I only saw the overall night, not that specific timeslot.
Perhaps I need to take a break from this forum for a while;).
