CBS has ordered a pilot episode of the BBC's 'Liar', billed as a 21st Century version of 'To Tell The Truth'.  The story is here:  CBS 'Liar' Story (http://\"http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=597&e=3&u=/nm/20031106/tv_nm/television_liar_dc\")

Sounds like a good show.  I don't like the title.  It should be called "Scammer."

Sounds like CBS is thinking their wonderful "new shows" are going to be toast by mid season. Wonder if they will use this to lead into the TPIR MDS or use MDS to lead it into "Liar"?

And btw, this thread is taking on ATGS characteristics real quickly. Jeezuz, some people just don't get it!

When 80 percent of new fall series on *all* of the networks don't make it to a second season, you have to be prepared for the inevitable--and as we all know, unscripted programming's a lot cheaper way to plug in the holes.
