Been that way as long as the 1973 episodes have been on offer, as far as I could tell (they've got Pilot A designated as "Episode 000").Great idea, Tim! Below is a list of game show reruns found on some streaming channels as of July 2, 2021. Of course, feel free to add

I don't know how long it's been on Amazon Prime, but now when you pull up the Match Game '73 list of episodes, they now have one of the pilot episodes as "Episode 1".
On (at least) Roku, there is a Local Now channel you can add, that has a channel devoted entirely to "Funny You Should Ask" reruns. Not surprising as it looks like Byron Allen's TV empire may have a hand in this channel. It does. Local Now started as a Weather Channel spinoff, with local weather, news, sports, traffic & even restaurant review bits based on the viewer’s zip code, mixed in with national news updates & lifestyle videos. They still have the original Local Now channel, but a few months ago they added a Pluto-like streaming service with additional channels. Much of the additional content is from Allen Group, but they’ve brought some outside channels on board as well—BUZZR being one of them.
Looking through the Pluto TV listings, it appears the Tween channel shows old Nick games like Hidden Temple and Figure It Out. They also show 5th Grader, but unsure which version. The Cena/Nick version, I’m sure… unless they’ve just signed an agreement to start running Foxworthy’s versions as well.
Britbox has episodes of civilian Pointless, but unsure which seasons are available.
The Money List is on Pluto on Demand. Nice to see it again!A few more GSN originals (including that one) were added within the last week or two - The Money List, 20Q, Extreme Dodgeball, Beat the Chefs (including four additional episodes that never aired on TV) and Best Ever Trivia Show.
Escape Perfecto on Sony Canal Competencias (not the same feed as Pluto's Escape Perfecto channel) has gone back all the way to Episode 1
Tubi currently has 30 episodes of Groucho-hosted "You Bet Your Life" available for streaming.

Not sure how long they've been there, but Roku Channel (https://therokuchannel.roku.com/details/caba7a6551b6504e8cf01ebb330f121a/deal-or-no-deal-synd) has up 290 episodes of the syndicated version of Deal or No Deal, which is apparently 10 short of the entire series.
6--Escape Perfecto.
They did. I want to say eight or twelve 90-minute Ruleta Rusa installments aired. I can't speak for Colombian EP.6--Escape Perfecto.(And, IIRC, the Pluto channel didn't switch during the holiday-season to Ruleta Rusa and EP Colombia.)
A technical question for y'alls: I really want to, er, permanently obtain the Escape Perfecto Colombia episodes that are now running on Sony Competencias before they go away again, but I'm having difficulty.Copy and paste this link into VLC.
I'm on a truly ancient Mac (10.12). I've tried the various VLC hacks here, to no avail, against the Competencias stream on Xumo.
Any ideas? Thanks for any help.
XUMO has added Buzzr, Fear Factor USA, TPIR: The Barker Era, Supermarket Sweep, and WipeoutXtra live channels. On that note, Xumo’s Family Feud channel appears to have gotten a bit of an overhaul as well. Initially it was all Harvey YouTube clips, and there is still plenty of that. But in the last few days, I’ve also spotted them playing full episodes from the Combs and Karn eras. Pluto is adding a channel for the Brady era of Let's Make a Deal next month. (https://www.cordcuttersnews.com/pluto-tv-will-add-seven-more-free-channels-in-july/?source=home)Now if they can do the same for the Hall runs (either 1971-1977 syndie or 1984-1986, either would be fine), we'd be set.

(We will continue to pray for Wheel episodes from the days when episodes started with the words “Look at this studio!” and players got to go shopping for prizes, including a ceramic Dalmatian.)Same.
For now, however, Sony and Pluto also aren’t saying how deep into the vaults they’ll be reaching.Jeopardy! I could see going pretty deep, especially given the Crackle and Netflix packages. I'd also love to see the spinoffs, though I realize that's a bit less likely.
Thirded, though I wouldn't boo stuff like Seasons 5-12 or the Goen era either (and I know the latter is unlikely but still).Quote from: Vulture article(We will continue to pray for Wheel episodes from the days when episodes started with the words “Look at this studio!” and players got to go shopping for prizes, including a ceramic Dalmatian.)Same.

I just saw an ad for the Wheel and J! channels on Pluto. The J! footage appeared to be from Ken Jennings' run, 2003-04 or 2004-05. The channel is specifically branded as Jeopardy with Alex Trebek. Sorry for those anticipating seeing Dr. Oz host. Wheel was pre-Million Dollar Wedge, so...pre-2010? A contestant picked up a $10,000 wedge that didn't look like a Mystery wedge.
And as I typed this, another ad throws some monkey wrenches into the above speculation regarding Jeopardy. Audio and video of older Trebek was used. The 2nd ad also had Brad Rutter winning $1,000,000. No older (pre-HD) footage from Wheel was shown.

“Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! are longtime staples of American pop culture and entertainment, and I know Pluto TV audiences will love watching classic episodes of these beloved shows over and over again.”I know press release quotes are usually something that sounds like it would come from the company rep, but I can't think of a single classic Wheel moment from the last five years*. At least the shopping eps. would invoke a sense of nostalgia for Gen-Z or millennials who stumble across the channel, kinda like Classic Concentration and $ale do on Buzzr.

Rhetoricality aside, I can name precisely three:One from this year I fondly remember was the woman who's kids didn't want to be named on TV in case she blew it, and then she did, in fact, blow it.
* Vanna hosting (with sub-moments for both "Disney characters co-host" and "Pat's daughter co-hosts")
* They gave away an entire house
* Three $100K wins over three consecutive days. (Which the discourse around got annoying, fast, but it WAS a moment)
At least the shopping eps. would invoke a sense of nostalgia for Gen-Z or millennials who stumble across the channel, kinda like Classic Concentration and $ale do on Buzzr. You wouldn’t really even have to go all the way back to the Shopping era. Just the trilon board, <|$25,000|> sign, and unlimited Free Spin pancakes would make for some good millennial nostalgia.
There was the three weeks Vanna hosted in 2019-2020, but those were not among the On Demand episodes. Never know, maybe the channel will air them.
* Vanna hosting (with sub-moments for both "Disney characters co-host" and "Pat's daughter co-hosts")Are the Vanna-hosted episodes really classic, though? I didn’t think they were particularly well-received, though given the situation & lack of prep time, it (rightly) didn’t seem that Vanna got too much flack personally for it.
/What year was the Hawaii episode that had the couples all guessing horse puzzles in speed-up?
Discovered by chance this morning... on the Roku Channel (at least in Canada) under the Live TV heading I was thrilled to see a channel dedicated to BBC's !mpossible. Love this format, wish it would get exported.

The Barker TPIR channel will be adding another 50 episodes to the rotation starting Monday, 10/24. Unlike previous adds, this will be done as a sort of primetime attraction, with 2 new episodes coming in nightly at 8 ET and 9 ET through 11/17.
Bonusround.ca is now a channel available on Roku!
Many of your favorite game shows from Canada are now on demand, including Definition, Super Pay Cards, LMAD, Mad Dash, Talk About, Pitfall, etc...
This is such good news. Love my Roku. There was a warning when I added it that there may be additional charges, but the first Definition episode I called up was free, so I don't know exactly what the model is.
Semi-related question here, but can you watch Roku's slice of the BonusRound.ca channel without a Roku Player and if so how? I have a feeling I'm SOL, but...doesn't hurt to ask.Nope. Only other way to watch is on the website.
And now Pluto TV becomes Freakin' Pluto TV with Freakin' Studs.

Then there were the '70s episodes where female contestants who got an exact bid had to go in Bob's jacket pocket to get their $100 bonus. I'm figuring that's considered taboo by today's standards as well. They're definitely showing that still.

Fremantle: The Bump game is too suggestive for the audience.
Also Fremantle, e'ry damn day:
(Picture in above comment)
I don’t think I’ve seen a playing of Bump in 30 years minus maybe one YouTube viewing, so I watched a couple playings just now.
Yeah…it’s a lot more suggestive than I remembered, although I vaguely recall loving the game as a child for some reason. :-P I don’t generally clutch my pearls over old entertainment, but if the channel wants to keep this family friendly, I totally get the decision.
Wasn't some of the legal action by the models either centered on or adjacent to Bump, or is that me taking years of conjecture and stories and balling it up into one big ol' Mandela Effect? Not the cause, but the effect. Because of all the allegations and tabloid fodder floating around, the game was retired. Same with the "reach into the $100 pocket" for a perfect bid. At least that's how I heard it

It was probably a mistake, but I'm certainly hoping otherwise.

The "new" episodes tonight appear to be what had been scheduled before they removed Bump. It was probably a mistake, but I'm certainly hoping otherwise.
I'm not convinced the motives for withholding the episodes was 'because they were bad' or had 'bad' content. There was an episode a few days ago that had an edit in Safecrackers that looked like the channel purposely edited something out
Hopefully it comes to other platforms besides Vizio.
I'm surprised they mentioned Vizio in particular. I believe the other Fremantle-owned GS streaming channels are all on Pluto TV.....which you *don't* need a Vizio TV to view.Pluto doesn’t actually carry the official Supermarket Sweep channel (the one that Roku Channel, Xumo, etc. carry). But the Pluto TV Game Shows channel runs a ton of Sweep and is basically Pluto’s defacto Sweep channel.

Otherwise, also hoping for Dawson and Combs.
After seeing some Combs "Feud," it becomes abundantly clear once again how Richard Dawson should have hosted the 1988 revival.
Dawson [...] was available in 1987-88 when the CBS Feud was coming together. If I'm not mistaken, Goodson once said Richard gave him tsoris (Yiddish for "trouble") and after the original show ended swore off ever working with Dawson again, so this wouldn't have happened.
Combs['] disinterest and bitterness toward the end of his run was palpable. That's a reasonable observation, though in Ray's defense I think some of his disinterest came from the show having some very silly gimmick matchups during his final two years (Baywatch cast vs. LA lifeguards! Priests vs. Rabbis! Doctors vs. Malpractice Attorneys! Priests vs. Rabbis again!).
The Redbox app now carries the Family Feud channel. To be clear, this is not the new Feud Classic channel that’s on Vizio, despite BUZZR’s recent social media post to the contrary. This is the Steve Harvey-based channel that’s been on Roku Channel and Xumo for a while.

Brought up Buzzr on Pluto TV today for the first time in a while, and I think there's been a nice change to the handling of ad breaks.
Previously, any unsold ad time was filled by that fluffy light elevator-hold music over the "We'll Be Back" animation. But now it looks like the time is filled with various Buzzr program promos (co-branded with Pluto) and generic Pluto promos.

I used to watch Buzzr through the website before it became geo-blocked and for a reason I'm not sure I can explain I absolutely love this music. I suspect maybe perhaps it's due to the fact that it isn't an ad?

I got a copyright claim when I uploaded a stream for private viewing for the music. It's called Cooking with Rhythm by Alan Fagan, you can still hear it (and other of the artist's compositions) here: http://www.alanfaganmusic.com/productionmusic (http://www.alanfaganmusic.com/productionmusic)

They now do the same thing over on the Roku Channel breaks ‐‐ that is filling show breaks with ads and promos. With that being said, why does Roku have to run the same Rich Eisen/Martha Stewart back-to-back promo Every. Single. Break.
Yeah, these are free channels here in the States. IIRC, the Roku Channel has shown Barker TPiR episodes with very limited commercial breaks in 45-minute increments instead of the 60-minute runtime on Pluto TV.. Any idea why Roku stopped showing the episode numbers?
We're going to be so lucky to have these channels when this strike continues and need some good ol' fashioned winning bells.

Somewhat randomly, the season 10 premiere from 1992 has been added to the Wheel of Fortune on demand offerings on Pluto.
One unusual thing I noticed about the first Season 5 show (#781) that's up is they took a break right after the first puzzle was solved, had the contestant do her shopping during the commercial break, and had Jack describe them when they came back from the break.
25 episodes from seasons 3 and 4 (which never aired on GSN) are up now.And with this, another "they're lost" rumor put to bed. Frankly I'm not at all missing that other More TV Game Shows channel now. Are we clear that it was to be another channel and not just them adding more to the current catalogs?
UPDATE: Christmas is really coming early for Wheel Watchers today as Pluto TV has now added episodes from Seasons 1 and 2.Be still my beating heart. I don’t think GSN’s shown these in close to 25 years.
As someone who has never cared for the "shopping" format, their shock has made me feel vindicated and youthful, tbh. Still, it's GREAT to get to see these.
One observation that jumps to mind for me: Chuck hosting the shopping episodes feels like playing a casual, rules-light card game with your friends (Uno, Five Crowns, et al.). Sure, there's not a TON of meat on the bone, but you're all chatting and having a good time, and it's less about the actual competition. Some of the nighttime episodes with Pat (not all) feel like playing that same game, but everybody's focused on their cards instead.
But why did the nighttime version even have shopping in the first place, besides "it's cheaper"?
One unusual thing I noticed about the first Season 5 show (#781) that's up is they took a break right after the first puzzle was solved, had the contestant do her shopping during the commercial break, and had Jack describe them when they came back from the break.
Just skimming the season 5 episodes that have been uploaded and a couple I already had, there are several little tells that they've pretty much already decided what they're about to do - generalizing here; shopping during the break, a round where a contestant wins $200 so they don't even bother and just offer a gift certificate, the last Battle of the Sexes show (and last taped shopping ep) having a big $20K cash prize at the end. At moments, it almost feels like a sneak preview of what's about to happen (without formally committing yet)
None of those were that unusual, though - they often had contestants shop during the breaks when they won over a certain amount; they sometimes didn't have any prizes under $200 in a showcase; and I know of at least one other Battle of the Sexes week where they did a similar (but smaller) thing for the Friday Finals (pretty sure it was a daytime week earlier in '87).
As someone who has never cared for the "shopping" format, their shock has made me feel vindicated and youthful, tbh. Still, it's GREAT to get to see these. There is an episode in this batch where the shopping and prize copy for a single round takes more than five minutes and ten seconds to complete. I know we're talking the times of only three broadcast networks, minimal cable TV, and longer attention spans, but it's almost shocking to me that the Jack Clark Describes Golden Fish era of this show not only survived, but thrived.
I want to say that it's a little weird it happened after round 1, but I would be unsurprised if they wanted strict timing.One unusual thing I noticed about the first Season 5 show (#781) that's up is they took a break right after the first puzzle was solved, had the contestant do her shopping during the commercial break, and had Jack describe them when they came back from the break.None of those were that unusual, though - they often had contestants shop during the breaks when they won over a certain amount;

Honestly, this being an era I've seen significantly less of compared to the cash format, but knowing the timeline, I drew incorrect conclusions. My bad.
A couple of friends (who are generally in the "like game shows but are a person outside of the genre fandom" category) have introduced their zoomer and (whatever is next) kids/friends to shopping on wheel today via these episodes. Reactions from the young ones include:I love the shopping era because it takes me back to childhood but it’s a slog to sit through at times, so I understand.
"wtf"
"WHY ARE THEY ONLY GETTING SIX LETTERS for the last puzzle"
"why are they not getting real money this lasted HOW long?"
"okay the ceramic dog thing is funny i guess but what IS THIS!?"
(and even the parents/my friends are very much glued in to "yeah, I can see why this was dropped")

No worries - I can absolutely understand why you’d draw that conclusion.
Maybe have a monitor with changing dollar amounts up to $5,000 to add a little razzle, or just make it a flat amount like the 10K space. Was there something like this in the late 90s/early 2000s? I'm thinking it was a small monitor that rotated something like $5k, $10k, $25k each spin, and the amount was added if you called a correct letter. There might have been a Bankrupt in the shuffle as well...or am I out of my mind?

None of those were that unusual, though - they often had contestants shop during the breaks when they won over a certain amount; they sometimes didn't have any prizes under $200 in a showcase; and I know of at least one other Battle of the Sexes week where they did a similar (but smaller) thing for the Friday Finals (pretty sure it was a daytime week earlier in '87).
Honestly, this being an era I've seen significantly less of compared to the cash format, but knowing the timeline, I drew incorrect conclusions. My bad.
No worries - I can absolutely understand why you’d draw that conclusion.
I haven't watched any of the episodes yet, but I get the impression that Chelsea is talking about just...like...a regular round where they went to commercial for shopping. In all the instances I've seen where they took a commercial break for shopping, it was because the contestant had a massive amount of money ($10K+) to play with. So to my way of thinking, it IS unusual and her read that they're over shopping at this point is accurate.
Watching the 10th Season premiere, I'm reminded that I consider 1992-1996 or so to be the "Wheel of Jeopardy" years. Puzzles like PATRIOT GAMES BY TOM CLANCY seem a lot more highbrow than what we've had in recent years.Nothing epitomizes this more than the MEGAWORD category.
25 episodes from seasons 3 and 4 (which never aired on GSN) are up now.
2 things I noticed..The master for Vanna's first show exists, but apparently not for Pat's.
Specifically the poor quality of Pat & Vanna’s first daytime episodes. They look like they were from VHS copies. Don’t the master tapes exist for these?
One of the 90’s episodes had a TV-G in the corner which appears to be a copy from GSN.
And it's normal to see ratings bugs on shows from after 1997 when the TV ratings system was introduced. Wheel and J!'s ratings bugs were on the master tapes.Interesting, did not know that
There is a music cue I've been trying to figure out the name for a long time. It was only played on Wheel for Season 1 and 1983-1984 in daytime. The music can be found at 6:15 on Season 1, Episode 3 on Pluto. I'm not sure why they got rid of it. I kind of like it.It sounds like a slow orchestral version of one of the themes from The Merv Griffin Show.
If it's the cue I'm thinking of, it is indeed a Merv Griffin Show cue (http://www.gameshowforum.org/index.php/topic,32868.msg386710.html#msg386710). It was also a car cue in the first couple seasons, and I'd love for Merv to have used those car cues as themes for other pilots instead of Buzzword or the theme to Strike a Match (Struttin on Sunset, I wanna say)There is a music cue I've been trying to figure out the name for a long time. According to a Press Release, The "More" TV Game Shows Channel is now coming in September, and there was this blurb about the existing Pluto TV Game Shows Channel:Well now, it looks to me that Pluto had an open sale to GameTV as they're also adding Pictionary to the schedule the week of 9/11 along with TPIR and Bergeron HS ;D
"NEW on Pluto TV Game Shows: Pluto TV Game Shows has an all new lineup! Tune in for shows like 25 Words or Less, Pictionary and more, all day, every day."!+
"MORE TV Game Shows" on Pluto TV is now live.
Currently airing Leno YBYL followed by Supermarket Sweep (used to air on regular Game Shows Channel).
The original Pluto TV Game Shows has also made the schedule transition and is showing 25WOL and Pictionary as the Press Release mentioned.
Something has gotten knocked a bit off-kilter on the Barker TPIR. Episodes start pretty reliably at :03 past the hour, but I've flipped the channel on at :28 past tonight to see Bob remarking that they're trying to get 5 winners out of 6 as they go into the last game on today's show.Which streaming service? There are two different Barker TPIR feeds: The one that runs on Pluto & Redbox starts the shows around the top of the hour*. The one on Roku Channel, Freevee, Plex & most other services runs shorter ad breaks and starts/stops at more random times.
The Barker TPIR feed I'm getting on Pluto now (both desktop and Fire stick) is synced to approximately the top of the hour now, like the other ones. But not too long ago (not sure how long ago it was), the Pluto feed *did* have the shorter ad breaks for about 45-50min per show.
Amazon Freevee is launching a "BBC Game Shows" channel on Oct. 17 as part of a deal with BBC Studios that will add five BBC FAST channels to Freevee.
The press release only mentions "the best of British quiz and competition shows." No specific programs were mentioned.

Neither of which are BBC shows. I wouldn't be surprised to see The Weakest Link show up though.Amazon Freevee is launching a "BBC Game Shows" channel on Oct. 17 as part of a deal with BBC Studios that will add five BBC FAST channels to Freevee.

Walsh Chase? UK Millionaire I bet
Since !mpossible is already available to stream (on the Roku channel), that one looks to be a strong possibility on the Freevee channel as well. Love to see Pointless and Blanety Blanks show up too.
Is Tenable a BBC show or ITV? I'd love to see that too.ITV. There's large amounts at stake.
Eh, there's large amounts on offer maybe. How many times per season does a team win more than £10,000? Point taken though. It's more than a teapot. Is Tenable a BBC show or ITV? I'd love to see that too.ITV. There's large amounts at stake.
It's more than a teapot. That's also ITV; it has ad breaks. :P

But yeah, Tenable has a theoretical 25k on offer per round. Beebs would never think of offering that at once.
Game TV now on local now app. Byron Allen finally did a good deed
Yeah, the streaming apps are getting GameTV Go, which is a separate feed from the main GameTV.Game TV now on local now app. Byron Allen finally did a good deed
Thanks for the heads up! The app's program guide leaves a lot to be desired as it only displays the current show and the one immediately after so I don't know what comes on later. The app must have a different feed as it doesn't match the schedule on Game TV's website.
I've never seen Dara O Briain's Go 8 Bit until now, but I'm really enjoying it.

I found the channel on the Plex app and can get listing gs a few days out. Your list seems completeGame TV now on local now app. Byron Allen finally did a good deed
What shows has anyone caught on there so far? It's hard to see what's offered since there is no viewable schedule being the "Go" Channel and how the Guide is structured.
So far I've seen:
TalkAbout
Cash Cab Canada
Go 8 Bit
Inside The Box
The New Liar's Club
Ice Cold Cash
Didn't expect the Sony shows they air to show up due to streaming rights.

And if the powers that be can mix the Dawson & Combs versions into a single channel, why not a MG Channel that mixes Rayburn and Shaffer versions?Because the Family Feud and Supermarket Sweep channels comprise episodes that have already been converted to digital, and very few Shaffer episodes have aired on Buzzr.
An all Match Game channel isn't a bad idea though. Buzzr has converted and aired just about the entire CBS run, plus most of MGPM and nearly all of the first season of syndie MG, and a big chunk of it hasn't run on Buzzr in ages.
BBC Game Shows is now on Plex, with the same schedule as the channel on Freevee and Amazon Prime.
Different channel. This one shows primarily shows which ran less than 2 series.BBC Game Shows is now on Plex, with the same schedule as the channel on Freevee and Amazon Prime.
So all Impossible, all the time? I swear that's all that's ever on when I come across it.
Didn't want to start a 2024 Predictions thread, so I'll make my lone prediction here:
We are about due for an all-Match Game Channel on the streaming side.
And if the powers that be can mix the Dawson & Combs versions into a single channel, why not a MG Channel that mixes Rayburn and Shaffer versions?
The Pluto On Demand section for Wheel of Fortune has added more episodes, most of which are holiday/winter-themed. The episode numbers for the classic episodes (1984 through 2000) in the batch are 271, 273-275, 463, 661, 662, 1251-1255, 1446-1450, 1641-1645, 2416-2420, and 3371-3375.
A recently-added series from across the pond on Tubi and Fawesome -- Head Hunters.
Eighty-nine episodes of the 1988-89 panel show "Relatively Speaking" are now on Tubi: https://tubitv.com/series/300004469/relatively-speaking
Kinda surprised by the Buzzr add of TPIR - is buzzr behind the pluto channels?
Kinda surprised by the Buzzr add of TPIR - is buzzr behind the pluto channels? Seeing more of the same.....when i can see it non stop on another channel- doesn't sound terribly smart...but what do i know? Two reasons it makes sense for them to do this:
