Title: A question for the ages...
Post by: Dbacksfan12 on December 23, 2004, 11:46:04 PM
Out of pure curiosity; I'm inquiring as to how old members of the forum are; and who the oldest might be [besides Chris] as well as the youngest.
I'll start, I'm 20.

Remember, though, that age and maturity are often two different things.  Someone can be 14 and display the maturity level of someone twice their age, while another can be 30 and display the maturity of someone 1/3 their age

But between my website bio and a little talent for arithmetic it isn't hard to guess.

It depends on the day.  Some days I feel as old as Bob Barker and Dick Clark put together.  Right now, though, I--like a few other members, I see--am 29.  Popular age on this forum.

And sorry to disappoint you Mike, but only Jennifer Garner is capable of being circa-30-going-on-teenage.  (I know, I tried.)

Folks? Just a suggestion....

Maybe I'm speaking out of turn, but I'm guessing that the people who are genuinely interested in this information don't particularly want to take the time to figure out your "clever" little puzzles about how old you are. And those who don't care, well, don't care either.

Just answer the question. There's no need to play geekier-than-thou, because then Zach will just pipe up and prove he's got us all beat, anyhow. And none of us want that.

Just sayin'. Comments may be directed to dev/null.

I'm afraid that can be one of several years, M7, if you're going by the Chinese Game Show Zodiac -- which can be found on paper placemats at some of your local neighborhood Banzai restaurants.

As for me, I'm getting to the age where it takes a few seconds to remember what age I am -- Don't know if senility is kickin in or since I'm closing in on 40, it could be selective amnesia.

37, and since I got my e-check reminder I'm not too far from #38.

Hih - that explains the confusion. Banzai is about the only restaurant I DON'T have in my  neighborhood. "Year Of The Diamond Head" would also be correct, but it doesn't have the same mystique - although now it's a dead giveaway how old I am.
