Deadline is reporting that Amazon is contemplating a revival of "Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader" with NFL star and Taylor Swift boyfriend Travis Kelce hosting. Per Deadline, Kelce and his people are "talking" with Amazon.
If this goes through, I'm guessing this version will get the "1% Club" treatment, premiering on Amazon Prime before airing later on Fox.

John Cena isn’t available?
They couldn't find him.

So is Travis Kelce smarter than a fifth grader?

Ooh, so close.

5th Grader is such an interersting show to me in that it's never truly taken a break. Even between versions of the show, developers are atill cranking out new board and video games. This is about to be the 4th iteration of the show since in 15+ years, and honestly, it's kinda impressive that they keep bringing it back from the dead in some way, shape or form.

More likely they saw way too much.

This complicates matters. "Are You Smarter Than A Celebrity" tapes in LA in April.

How, exactly, is that supposed to work?

The original casting announcement referred to this as a spinoff so, based on the ticketing website info, we're going to have five "celebrities" at the desk rather than grade school children.
This might work depending on the celebs, especially if there are episodes where Travis Kelce's teammates are on the panel, his brother, various Amazon NFL personalities, etc. At the very least, it would be worth a watch to check out 1-2 episodes.

"celebrities" you haven't likely heard of .......From Vanderpump Rules it's......
The problem with that is what celeb is going to want to show the world how dumb they are? I get it, publicity is publicity, but .......

Rob Gronkowski. Between Gronk, his father, and his NFL-playing brothers, you have a full complement of celebs, no less than 4/5 of a panel.

The Manning family seems to be willing to make random, frequent appearances. And I hear Brett Farve is looking for charity money.

Presumably the celebrities are complete dumbasses?
