New PDFs have been released. GSN only leased 50 episodes for both shows.
Why only 50? Why couldn't it have been at least 200?
-
I'm very upset by this news.

Two things here:
As much as I want to trot out the "Be happy there's a channel in the first place to show these" argument, 50 seems excessively low.
The other, I find a little troubling: in looking at the PDF for Christmas Day, it appears "paid programming" airs all the way from 7:30am to 5:00pm. Whaaaaaaaaaa...........?
-
Feel free to send GSN a check with your name on it and pay for the rest of the episodes. How is this "low"?
My answer? You're a spoiled brat who thinks everything should be handed to him. That's not how the real world works, kid. Remind me to send you a lump of coal for Christmas.
-
Because most of the channel's leases I've seen for non-original programming have been around 200, give or take a bit. 50 is inexcusable, no matter how hard you, or GSN, may try to spin this one.
-
Casey thanks you for the web traffic.
Don't like it, don't watch. Don't watch, don't pay for the channel. I know that'll free up an hour a day on my Tivo.
-

I wouldn't say "inexcusable"....That's taking things a little too far. They can do what they want, regardless of what anyone thinks. If they want to repeat the episode of Feud where Gary appears, ad-nauseum for months, every day, they can do that. I still think 50 is a low number, but I'm going to take a few seconds to process it, and move on with my life. I start work soon. I guarantee you I won't be spending all night pondering 50 episodes.
-
The PDF seems incomplete... the Christmas Day Match Game marathon isn't even listed. I say we just wait and see until an updated schedule is released.
-
50 is inexcusable, no matter how hard you, or GSN, may try to spin this one.
Ah, and can you show me the network's financials that back up this assessment on your part?
If it's "inexcusable", please, tell me what you are going to do about it, because if it's inexcusable, clearly you must be driven to action, yes? Otherwise you're excusing it.
-
Just wild speculation on my part: were the short leases done to get a sample size and then the decision would be made to extend them?
-
Dear gameshowlover87:
you know how bent out of shape you get when people give you crap and compare you to Zach Horan?
This is part of the reason why people do that.
(Travis, I could see them doing that- 50 is pretty low, considering that amounts to just ten weeks of episodes if you run 'em on weekdays, but there had to be some reason for a lease of 50)
-
50 is inexcusable...
No it isn't because....
A.) It could be zero.
and more importantly (and when it comes to PYL)...
B.) They were episodes that had never been seen in broadcast quality or ever before. Peter's suit in the first one seemed like a standard grey affair in blurry tape footage passed around more than a potato in Russia. Then the 1st episode was aired in broadcast quality and it was discovered that they didn't have the budget to hire a wardrobe coordinator yet. I don't give a kitty what they leased, this was an absolute treat to see. And by virtue of that, they don't need to explain a damn thing.

Oh my, what a horrendous tragedy.
I'll get the International Court of Justice on this, this Game Show Human Rights Violation must be dealt with.
Expect a press conference from the president shorty on this crisis.
-
jjman920, yes it is inexcusable. GSN has never done this crap before. You should give a kitty what they leased. And they do need to explain a damn thing.
Besides, there's a good chance this is all GSN is ever gonna for years and years to come. Even if ratings are the best, chances are they'll just keep showing the same damn first 50 over and over again to please only average casual viewers. I hate average casual viewers.

Indeed. I never imagined GSN airing the first 50 or so episodes of PYL with Bob Boden not being there....... and judging by the steady growth for both it and Card Sharks in the ratings department, I wouldn't be too surprised to see more leased episodes appear in the near future.

Quack quack quack.
And upon further review: Quack.

I love to jump to conclusions as much as the next person (how else would I get my exercise?), but can you at least wait until they do it again before you fly off the cliff? I mean, just when you think GSN might be stale and you have them figured out, they went out and leased something they had never leased before. No one saw that coming. Making proclimations about what GSN will do after they just showcased how they can be surprising is more baffaling logic than a two-sided Rubik's Cube.

I'll have some of this (http://\"http://www.dorkazine.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/orville-redenbacher1.jpg\"). You can have some of this. (http://\"http://www.akblessingsabound.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/HALLS-Cherry-Cough-Drops-Bag-blessings-abound-mommy.jpg\")

I nominate this for "Line of the Year". Really, you can't top a statement like this.
Your priorities are so out-of-whack, it's genuinely disturbing.
-
While I hate that networks cater to the lowest common denominator far too often, one has nothing to do with the other.
As for that first paragraph, 4/10.
-
It's amazing the histrionics generated by the business decisions of a mid-tier cable TV channel. You know something: For all of the criticism directed towards the original poster, I have to admit: I legitimately envy you. I would give anything to have a life so carefree that I could apparently devote all of my attention and time and passions towards what GSN is or is not leasing. Because that's certainly the perception I (and I suspect others) get based on the frequency, duration, and intensity of your comments regarding the network.
I can't even imagine what it's like to have that little actual baggage in life demanding your attention or occupying your thought. I know I certainly don't have that luxury.

I've been quietly semi-retired from these boards after my behavior last week or so, which, I admit, was immature on my part (as was this. Actually 99% of my behavior here). Lately, I've been leaning to keeping more of a low profile on these boards lately. The only reason I'm still logged in is so that I can access some of the features here that I couldn't if I wasn't.
However, this totally unexpected news made me briefly come back and express my anger, my frustration, and my confusion.
-
So you know your behavior is uncalled for, but you behaved anyway. What does that say about you?

I have one of these. (http://\"http://technabob.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/01/3_3_1_rubik.jpg\") It's surprisingly tricky.
-
However, this totally unexpected news made me briefly come back and express my anger, my frustration, and my confusion.
If this "unexpected news" causes you to get angry, then you have a problem. A serious one.
I get angry or frustrated when someone cuts me off on the Interstate, then slows down to a snail's pace. I get pissed when I have sh(OOPS!)y service at a restaurant. But a third-tier cable channel only leasing a handful of episodes of a show I like? No. The confusion would prolly be my only emotion, and then I'd shrug it off after about 20 seconds.

We have a Major Contract coming up to vote on Friday at the Grocery store I work at..However the vote goes, it will mean major upheaval at my job (transfer to another store after 21 years, maybe to a new department I've never worked in..Just to keep my wages and hours as they are..) And that's if we vote yes on the contract..As much as I like Game Shows, this GSN/PYL stuff is just a blip on my radar..Though it is fun to read about..
-
Anywho, real answer to this as pointed out while recording podcasts tonight who'll see this post. (Hi, Chico), GSN definitely doesn't have the money as they did 10 years ago, so this doesn't surprise me. They can rerun them over and over and I won't get tired of them. I'm with most of you and glad they were even able to get these gems.
-
Someone with an identity crisis?
When you choose to engage in an activity (in this case a discussion), you implicitly agree to conduct yourself with behavior appropriate for that environment. It's simply how social functions work. When you put yourself into the discussion you open yourself up to whatever scrutiny may follow for your comments or behavior, much as I'm doing now. If you have pre-existing personal baggage that could compromise your ability to conduct yourself reasonably, you have to weigh whether or not participation is worth the potential criticism that may well follow.
It's not compulsory to have your opinion out there in every discussion, and if you're in a position where voicing your opinion may do more harm than good, that's a choice you have to make. I've been here since day one, and I have less than 1500 posts. I average something close to one post every three days. Others have far fewer than that. There are quite a lot of times that I don't think there's anything beneficial I can contribute to a discussion. So I don't. Whether that's due to a lack of information on the subject matter, a lack of desire to talk about that topic, or occasionally just because due to my own real-life issues I don't think I could communicate my point clearly and effectively that day.
I'm only posting now because, for however much my own personal baggage may be weighing on me at the current moment (here's a hint: a lot), I think it's worth my time and energy to tell you the things I'm currently saying. As harsh as others criticisms may be, they're saying these things because to them it's worth their time to say it, be it to try to inform you or even just for their own personal catharsis.
I've brought this up once before elsewhere, but to close: During a stand-up routine a couple of years ago, Craig Ferguson brought up three questions you should ask yourself before jumping into a discussion. I think they're a very, very good standard with which to weigh the merits of a potential post, so long as you're honest with yourself:
Does this need to be said?
Does this need to be said by me?
Does this need to be said by me, now?
-
It is interesting news, though. We'll just have to see if it is fact or just a mistake/placeholder on the schedule. If the former, well at least it was fun while it lasted to see some more '83 PYL. Wonder what will become of the Florida Whammy site's episode guide project, however. Also interesting since they usually went the full monty with CS leases in the past. PYL I could understand, but Card Sharks always seemed like one of their sure things.
It is frustrating that it seems like GSN took one step forward then two back (which happens often), and between the possibility of limited "new" PYL episodes (yes, possibility, I still say wait and see) and the doubtful future of The Pyramid, my enthusiasm for the channel is back down. But yeah, there are worse things in the world to worry about. Ask some of the people in the NJ/NY area for one!
-
On the bright side, the same PDF shows Susan Ruttan and Dick Cavett on the $25,000 Pyramid, which suggests that after the current run of Christmas episodes, they'll be airing more new-to-GSN shows!
-
I'm a little disappointed that they seemingly only leased 50 episodes, but I'm grateful that they showed the first 50 of the series. Some of those haven't been seen since the CBS days and it's a nice treat that they got those ones.
I'm sure we'll see more "new to GSN" episodes on the network soon.
-
I'm very upset by this news.
I have to say that The Family Trade amongst other possible reality pick ups may be worse for GSN
Furby-to-Furby interaction.

Oh no. GSN only picked up 50 episodes of PYL this time. Oh noes, not that! What will I do now that there's a chance that I won't see those other episodes that have never been shown on GSN before? I think I'm going to bury my head in my pillow and cry myself to sleep, this is so not fair!
(Joke, Zach. Hey, since he's acting like a Zach...)

Tasteless. Knowing you, you'd probably celebrate the deaths of Julius and LGY, if it were to happen one day.

Yeah...you're the LAST one who should be talking about tasteless posts.

3/10, Zach. You're slipping...you continue to make asinine statements, yet continue to whine about being ostracized. Man up or shut up (preferably the latter).
-

I'll go out on a limb and guarantee they will die one day. Same with you and me. Logic is not your strongest point, King Furby I.
Take Brandon's advice. Or don't, and keep digging holes.
-
Tasteless. Knowing you, you'd probably celebrate the deaths of Julius and LGY, if it were to happen one day.
You know, I've learned over the years through various real-life experiences (incidentally, you ought to try having some of those) that it is perfectly possible to simultaneously be sad that a person has died and glad that I don't have to interact with them anymore. You don't voice such a thing at the funeral, of course, but the sense of relief can be there all the same, whether you feel guilty about it or not.
-
Tasteless. Knowing you, you'd probably celebrate the deaths of Julius and LGY, if it were to happen one day.
Sad attempt at trying to make yourself look good. I fail to see how calling someone a furby is tasteless.

They're neck and neck. Zach blatantly ignored advice too and rarely responded or justified his behavior. gameshowlover sees the advice and plays the victim card, while having a public meltdown. It's honestly kinda funny.

Good point. Whenever Little Zachy got a reply, he most likely jumped up and down in his chair like a child and said "Yay, I got attention!" And you're right, gameshowlover's attempts at justifying his "points" are worth a laugh.

Some of the lulziest of the lulz:
It is obvious GSN did this on purpose just to piss us loyal viewers off.
Whoever at GSN did this is nothing but an inhuman monster
Because no one took these thoughts into consideration. I have to keep repeating until someone gets it.
I have a guess as to who is about to "get it," as it were.
(Is CardSharks8689 the artist known formerly here as CarShark? Looks like the same act, right down to GuideAngel jumping right into action when he snaps his fingers, which would certainly explain why he was so pissed off when Our Benevolent Moderators wouldn't fellate him in similar fashion over here...)

This is my favorite:
Except the people refusing to put more of these non-GSN episodes of PYL from USA reruns (or CBS broadcasts) on the trading circuit, or on YouTube, are some of the most selfish, arrogant people out there.
And they shall be labeled as such, until they finally come forward and do something right.
Selfish and arrogant? Uh, hello, Pot? This is Kettle.

CTFU*. Wow. Crying because we all won't do what we're not obligated to do. How the hell did a baby get access to the Internet and learn how to read and spell, anyway? Is this some new infant technology I was not aware of? He sure cries like one!

A lot of those quotes sound like some of the posters over at the TCM boards. It's nice to be able to come someplace like here and laugh at the utter nonsense this sort of shtick is, rather than actually have to deal with it and tell people why they're wrong.

This is, without a doubt, the most hilarious thing I have ever read. If I have an opportunity to stop John Wayne Gacy, Jeffery Dahmer, and Ted Bundy, I won't. I'll need to stop the fellas at GSN first.

At the very least, I got something out of this. I didn't know GS87's handle over at Buzz. That's actually helpful to me as we move forward.

But, this is, by far, the most offensive statement anyone has ever directed towards me. No sarcasm.

If I'm not mistaken, he got the Bobby Peacock treatment where he resurfaced under a new name after getting his old account 'banned'.

Abell posted PDFs for the rest of January, which show GSN continuing to cycle through the earliest episodes a second time. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little disappointed, but it was nice while it lasted, and hopefully they'll pick up more episodes in the future.

This is the perfectly reasonable reaction of a human being who seems to have a well-adjusted sense of proportion about television network budgetary and scheduling decisions. What is it doing in this thread?

If he thinks GSN is a bunch of "inhuman monsters," I wonder what he'd call them if their schedule looked like this:
8am-Tic Tac Dough (Wayne)
8:30am-Card Sharks (Bullard)
9am-Love Connection (Bullard)
9:30am-Match Game (Burger)
10am-Studs (DeCarlo)
10:30am-Swaps (St. John)
11am-Richard Simmons' Dream Maker (Simmons)
11:30am-All New 3's a Crowd (Thicke)
Noon-You're in the Picture (Gleason)
12:30pm-Extreme Gong (Gray)
1pm-DJ Games
1:30pm-Lingo (Engvall)
2pm-Let's Make a Deal (Bush)
3pm-Big Deal (DeCarlo)
3:30pm-Temptation (Morreale)
4pm-Family Feud (Anderson)
4:30pm-Newlywed Game (Rodriguez)
5pm-Dating Game (McGreggor)
5:30pm-Dating Game (Sherwood)
6pm-Blind Date (Lodge)
6:30pm-Bargain Hunters (Tomarken)
7 to 9pm-Paid Programming
9pm-Instant Recall (Martindale)
9:30pm-Pyramid (Osmond)
10pm-How Much is Enough? (Bernsen)
10:30pm-Break the Bank (Farago)
11pm-Baggage (Springer)
11:30pm-Baggage (Springer, same episode as 11pm)
Midnight to 8am-Paid Programming
Edit: Originally had Throut and Neck in the 9:30am slot. Took that out, Becca's too easy on the eyes.
-
John, one more thing I would do:
I would place "You're in the Picture" at noon. Do you like only 50 episodes leased? You'll *love* the same episode over and over again!
-
I have to say that there's a very good chance that there will be some sort of schedule changes in January, and major ones too.
I'd say there's a equally good chance that Natalie Gulbis arrives at my front door with nothing on but a wreath.
-

Also, I think Karn Feud is too easy...ANDERSON EPISODES, BABY!
And Bush LMAD must be followed or preceded by Big Deal from Fox.
And no Temptation?

Not to take sides, but how is it different from using "Donnymid" as people do for Donny Osmond episodes of Pyramid?

LINE 10: 4pm-Family Feud (Karn)
LINE 20: GOTO 10
Fixed that for you.
-
LINE 10: 4pm-Family Feud (Anderson)
LINE 20: GOTO 10
Fixed that for you.
And I fixed that for you.
/Given the scheduling for Family Feud as it is, the above scenario, Karn or Anderson, isn't that unrealistic...

John, one more thing I would do:
I would place "You're in the Picture" at noon. Do you like only 50 episodes leased? You'll *love* the same episode over and over again!
Heh. Nice one. There'd already be repetitiveness with Swaps, Dream Maker, Farago BtB, etc. But I love your idea. *snicker*
-
I was hoping for Back-to-Back Bullard with Hold Everything! after CS, and maybe throw Thousand Dollar Bee in there somewhere for good measure.
-
No 3's a Crowd anywhere on that schedule? Blasphemy!
-
Junior Pyramid, FTW.
You'll love seeing those five episodes over and over and over (yet) again!
-

Junior Partner Pyramid would like a word with you.
-
I loved your suggestions so much that I edited my post and threw them in there. :-) Instead of Hold Everything, I put Bullard's Love Connection on after Card Guppies. Three's a Crowd is on the schedule...All New, anyway. I decided to stick with the 2 hours of infomercials from 7 to 9 and the 8 hours of more infomercials from midnight to 8. Help is much appreciated, guys! :-)

GSN had no problem leasing for 200 episodes of Press Your Luck in 2001, and had no problem leasing 200 Card Sharks episodes back in 2001.
The fact that GSN has now leased for only 50 episodes of both shows shows how pathetically off the cheap end GSN has gotten.

That was then, this is now. And Card Sharks was part of a lease that included all of the Goodson-Todman library pre-1995 (save for TPIR and Feud '94).
The fact that GSN has now leased for only 50 episodes of both shows shows how pathetically off the cheap end GSN has gotten.
Put your jammies on and go to sleep, will you?
-
CS lease was actually in 2010, not 2001. And I don't care. This is still a clueless mistake on GSN's part.
GSN - Completely clueless since 2004.
Oh, and Mark Odor. If you are reading this, let it be known that you are nothing but a liar. You had the nerve to lie about me. Claiming that I know nothing about unaired episodes.
You obviously haven't ever taken a course in economics. How does it make any fiscal sense to air episodes of a failing show when repeats pull the same ratings? You're what, 45? Time to take the fandom blinders off for a change.
Note to self: next time a thread is mainly Owen and gslover87, skip it. I blame my lack of sleep.
Uh, Mark Odor, aren't you aware of the fact that syndicators show unaired episodes of TV shows in syndication? Quit pretending you are a 100% knowledgeable person. This is the dumbest thing you have ever said about me. You had no right to say this at all.

Do your parents know of your obsession? They could get you the professional help you need.

You know, Mark and I are like oil and vinegar, but that is a completely asinine statement to make. Especially considering you did more to reinforce his point than you ever did to refute it.
And I guess you'll continue to get away with it too.

I myself would love a GSN where the schedules were just like they were before October 1997, with PYL, $10k/$20k/$25k/$100k Pyramid, etc. thrown in there. But GSN will never go back to that. Does that make them "inhuman monsters" to me? No, I just accept it and move on, if there's something I don't like on GSN, I don't watch. Be lucky GSN even put PYL back on the schedule in the first place. Quality, not quantity!
-
Yeah, be lucky it's the same 50 episodes for the next 80 years till the tapes stop working!
I'm not spoiled. I would have perfectly happy with at least a 200 episode lease for both PYL and CS. I've already learned to accept the fact that GSN will never be what they were before October 1997. What is still unexplainable is why only 50 episodes for PYL and CS, yet $25K Pyramid ans SP get 200? How is that fair?
-

OK, first you tell us this:

Then you contradict yourself with this:

I have no comment other than to add that Larry "Bud" Headroom up there is ten pounds of win in a five-pound bag.

I'm going to take the Abell approach here
You're going to find that doesn't work well here, which is one of the reasons Mr. Abell took his business elsewhere.
and say that the Card Sharks/Press Your Luck leases costed $7.95 each. Admit it.
"I admit nothing, except your basic foolishness." -- Stephen King, don't remember which book.

Ooh! Ooh! Good thing I'm here then, isn't it. The Long Walk. I would bet cash money Stebbins was involved in that conversation.
Edit: Dang, that's what happens when I don't read the rest of the thread. Nice going, J.R. :) I will put out that I remembered the quote sans google-fu, and I still look less silly than several of our yinzers here.
-
I'm going to take the Abell approach here and say that the Card Sharks/Press Your Luck leases costed $7.95 each.

Come on now, John. They would have to pay GSN to air that.

Or better yet, GSN and Fremantle end up in a permanent impasse, arguing over which side is going to shell out the money.

You know, I thought so, but unlike some folks here I like to make sure my facts are correct before I publish them. And yet Google didn't come through for me at all. Prolly should have Binged it. :D
Thank you both, gentlemen.

I couldn't decide with post I should use in response to LGY and GSL87, so here's all three.
Version 1: I think I heard from Casey that there were tape problems with episodes 51 on up to the episodes in the previous lease. At least that's what I'm stating as fact. I think.
Version 2: GSN signed up for a fifty-episode trial. At the end of the trial, if they haven't declined a subscription renewal they will be automatically upgraded to a paid membership. I mean, why else did they have to provide a valid credit card number for a free trial?
Version 3: Cease to exist, both of you.
-

It's in the same post as where I directly called him Zach Horan. Except it's not on the board...it's all in his mind.

All kidding aside, this does seem like an odd thing for GSN to do. To me it doesn't make sense why they would only get 50 episodes.

i agree. GSN errored on this one.

I'd be shocked if they were tape problems with many episodes
-
All kidding aside, this does seem like an odd thing for GSN to do. To me it doesn't make sense why they would only get 50 episodes.
All kidding aside, too - I wonder if, more than ever, they are really pushing to the extremely casual viewer - someone that may stop by GSN at that time of the day, watch for a few minutes, and then move on to something else - the chances of seeing a "repeat performance" are nil.
-
The thing that I find most surprising is that they're actually going to run these very early episodes of PYL again -- I was prepared for the first go-round to be my one and only chance to see them. After all, the contestants are quieter, the directing/editing is clunkier, and Peter hasn't settled into a hosting groove yet. It's all understandable growing pains for a technologically-complicated, brand new show, and it's fascinating to watch from a historic standpoint, but it's not the set of episodes I'd choose to air if I was trying to catch the attention of casual viewers.
-
Truthfully, it really doesn't make a whole hell of a lot of sense to just lease 50 episodes- unless you're playing on your viewers having really short attention spans.
But that said, it's a decision by a television network with a niche audience. The world is not going to end because said niche audience is going to be up in arms over it. Ob-la-di, ob-la-da. There are more important things to be worried about.
-

I'm willing to accept that...as long as you're not saying that to get off the hook. Just remember that a lot of us here have long memories.

BTW, Brandon, I have something else that I'd like to address to you as well. But I prefer to tell you about via email as opposed to profile feed.
I don't like the fact that the new version of this forum took away the email option.

I'm going to take the Abell approach here and say that the Card Sharks/Press Your Luck leases costed $7.95 each.
If the leaser is offering $7.95 for each property, then I'll take both and find it time where I work at.
/OH YOU MEANT PER EPISODE
//I think you're taking the wrong approach

No offense, but you're gonna have to prove it with by "walking the walk" this time. Next time you throw a hissy fit over GSN's decisions or have a public meltdown over a critical post and you'll render this apology hollow.
For now: I'm willing to let it go. Preform your end of the bargain and all will be well.
-
I'm willing to accept that...as long as you're not saying that to get off the hook. Just remember that a lot of us here have long memories.
Did anybody as a youth mean it when you said "I'm sorry"? Cuz this sounds "I'm sorry I said some stupid stuff and made myself out to be an enormous toolbag."
-
I myself am going to give you a chance, GSLover87, that's all I'm going to say. Raygor and BFG said all that needed to be said.
-
As for me, I'm going to take the apology with a huge pile of salt.
GSL may claim he's changed, but it's only going to be a matter of time before he says something that's either a) utterly offensive, or b) nonsensical.
-
We know it's not that cheap, but you're gotta admit a 200-episode lease of any pre-1990 show on the GSN schedule now is pretty dirt cheap because no other networks want them.
So is it "not that cheap" or is it "pretty dirt cheap?"
Pick a lane.
I love when people are deluded enough that a per-show cost is under $10 for a national network.
-
We know it's not that cheap, but you're gotta admit a 200-episode lease of any pre-1990 show on the GSN schedule now is pretty dirt cheap because no other networks want them.
I admit no such thing because I, just like you, not only don't know what the lease would cost, but even further don't know how that number compares to similarly-aged programming. And even further than THAT, I couldn't say how those numbers fit into GSN's finances.
And until YOU can cite those numbers, you need to stop talking out of your ass.
-

PonR. Iirc ESPN classic reruns old shows on occasion. And unless you have some definitive numbers, which I doubt, you aren't in any position to make a definitive statement.
-
Better question
Not so much. He's not the one making complete ex-rectum proclamations, whereas we are of the opinion that you are. The burden of proof is on you to dispute that.
-
Better question: Do you?
Uh, I think control is still on your side since you never answered his - nor mine to pick a lane - for that matter.
So, like Mark is asking, what qualifications do you have to make these claims about what GSN is paying for them?
-
Better question: Do you?
Did you really just cite case law from Rubber v. Glue as your answer? Cuz it doesn't work like that.
-

I have not stopped laughing at this one yet. Serves me right for trying to eat lunch while reading these threads.

Whatever.
So in other words, you're using your avoidance of admitting that you don't know what you're talking about to admit that you don't know what you're talking about.
-
No. Because this forum is not my life. I'm sorry. It's not

Please stop shitting on our carpet.

In all fairness, this is not a good argument or rebuttal, not just here, but in real life. It comes across as dodging the question. All you're being asked to do is back your claims up. No need to be so defensive.
-
