Title: HS Poker Ratings
Post by: mmb5 on February 20, 2007, 02:45:02 PM
An article about the various varieties of televised poker can be found here (http://\"http://www.dbsforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=71752&postcount=10\").

Quick GSN-related summary:
1. Poker Royale had less than 200,000 households during its time on GSN.
2. The current High Stakes Poker gets around 300,000.

I believe 300,000 is around GSN's normal rating if I'm not mistaken.

If you're talking about in comparison to the monthly household delivery, that's better than normal.  According to CableWorld, (http://www.cable360.net/cableworld/departments/ratings/) GSN's HH for January was 256K, but that's actually an improvment over the past few months.  Rating's still a 0.4, but that's nothing new.

Any little improvement is good, right?
