The DoND online game is up and running on the NBC website.  Thoughts, opinions?

BTW, here's a link:

Well apparently, the bank offers on our version will be absolutely outrageous.  The first one I got was around $25,000.  I ended up settling for about $91,000 but my briefcase had $300,000 in it.  From what I can tell, this is gonna be one heck of a show.

I'm curious to see how it plays out on the show... I was left with $300K, $500K and $1Mill... turned down banker's $541K.  Played on, knocked out the $300K, but the offer went down to $535 500 or so.  Odd.  Had the half mill in the end.

Fun game to kill some time :)  The French board game has an automated banker in it, wonder how that would turn out.

Ryan :)

I don't know what it says about my luck or karma or whatever, but I played it one time and the suitcase I chose had the penny.

The bank offers seem pretty high, but there's no way to know yet whether the web game is using anything close to the same standards that the actual show will.
This has been another installment of Matt Ottinger's Masters of the Obvious.

On my first try, I took a deal for $165K after the 4th-to-last case was revealed...had I stuck w/my case, it would've been a mere $25K. :-)

Did anyone else think the cue for revealing the deal amount sounded like the question reveal cue on Greed?

I played a few times and did pretty well.  One time I bailed out with about $123,000, and the two cases left ended up being $750K and $1M two rounds later; my case was the $750K.

If the deal amounts we see here are comparable to what we'll see on the show, it looks like contestants, if they play smart, should leave with a good 5+ figure sum of money.  I'm looking forward to watching the show!

Hey, I have an idea! Let's EVERY ONE OF US post how we did when we played the game!

From the sounds of it, if the contestants are BREATHING, they should be able to get out with 5 figures.

I wouldn't start betting the house that this in any way reflects how the show will calculate the deals.

Namely, I was sitting with $500K and $750K, and was given an offer of $430K.

They may end up giving away TOO much money, though, with the values the way they sit now.  Wouldn't surprise me to see the hill climb on the money tree get steeper if this lasts on any sort of long-term scale.

I've heard of sand in one's vagina.  This is a case of someone having the frickin' Sahara.

Chris, I would insist you take the advice you offer Mark--please, get laid.

ObDoND:  I hit the penny earlier as well.  I'll split a Necco wafer with ya, Matt.  And I can attest to the weird offers as well.  In one case, I had $10, $75, and $500K left.  After getting rid of the $10, my offer decreased.

Fair enough. It's just that everytime one of these threads comes up, we get like sixteen thousand silly posts from people who want to post how they did, followed by someone crowing loudly that they "won", like it actually means something in a game like this. I think it's silly. But you have a point too, it doesn't hurt anything, so I'll just take myself and my sandy vagina and back out the door slowly.

Yeah, really. You need to get laid about 37 times, Lemon.

Anyway, this is one addicting game. I've lost the million each damn time but it's still fun. I too, infact hit the penny as well, but right after that, I hit 750K.

"Like sands through Lemon's vagina, these are the Days of Our Lives..."  Nope, doesn't really work.

I'd better stop before some NBC programmer reads this and decides that he has a replacement for Deal or No Deal. ;-)

BTW, we knew that.

This game is actually pretty fun...a decent time killer, and better than the other version by far.
