When I first heard here that the family podium scoreboards were coming back, I pitched this little fit.  Having watched a couple of episodes over the Thanksgiving weekend, I actually see now why the scoreboards were installed in the podiums.  It appears that the distance from the edge of the Big Board scoreboard to the edge of the family backdrop is greater now than is was in 1976-1985 and 1988-1994/5 (probably to accommodate the audience members).  Therefore the shot of a score used during those times could probably not be used today (at least in 4:3).

While I still wish the Marc Breslow directing bible was used a little more, I'll still take this season of Feud over any of the previous seven.

Agreed.

I'm not sure if the addition of John O' Hurley motivated the contestants in the back this season, but this season so far has been nothing short of amazing. I have seen several families go over $40,000 this season. If this keeps up, we may have a legitimate Tournament of Champions held later on.
