Feud Board Sound Question

When the answers were flipped over and made the *ding* sound, was that sound part of the flipping or was it a sound effect?

I THINK it was just an effect.  I've seen times where the answers would flip over and nothing would be heard.

If you listen carefully when the answer is flipped with no ding, there is a \"click\" the board makes.

So the short answer is above, that it is a sound effect.
