Interesting to note that in a Variety article on the move ...

https://variety.com/2025/tv/news/pop-culture-jeopardy-season-2-netflix-1236554591/

... it specifically mentions that Prime Video "changed its strategy with game shows." Translation -- they premiered several traditional, "shiny floor" shows in 2024 and none of them appear to be coming back to the streamer. "The 1% Club" becoming exclusive to Fox this summer was likely a hint that Prime was changing its mind on the genre. (*) The streamer will stick to Mr. Beast and similar fare.

Do we have any idea how season 1 of PCJ did in terms of minutes viewed and the like? All I heard from the J! podcast was that "it was doing well with younger viewers," but never went into specifics beyond that.

Season 1 had issues but, over time, Colin Jost improved as a host and the presentation was a lot smoother.

(*) There was so much hype about Travis Kelce hosting a new take on "5th Grader" than, after the show premiered, dead silence. The show wasn't good (IMO) but I did not expect the promotion to go away in such a short period of time.

I think Are You Smarter... is an example of when you try to bank on a name over the format. Even though the franchise has a history, nothing about the show made me wanna watch past the first few minutes.

Wonder if some people's exhaustion over both Travis and Taylor factored in as well? Sure the show gets a known name, but both Kelce brothers are a little overexposed right now IMO.

I imagine those are going to remain opaque.

Another potential sign that Amazon was pivoting was that J! and Wheel used other providers for their next day VOD. I still have a hard time thinking Joe and Jane Average are going to think about Prime Video as much more than the place those crappy Thursday NFL games are on.
This signature is currently under construction.

I'm now hoping.for a Cincy/Tampa Bay Super Bowl this year just to spite the Cleleland Browns management and coaching -- or lack thereof.

You think we can become billionaires by just selling in Cleveland Jimmy Haslam voodoo dolls?

/Almost went into business selling Jerry Jones voodoo dolls after the Micah Parsons trade.

I haven't looked at this team the same way since January 14, 2024. Jerruh's reaction after the Lions game on his birthday is honorable mention.

/At least they tied the Packers this time in Lambeau South AT&T

You might be billionaires by selling them just to my family.
