Apparently the game show awards were presented at the Creative Arts ceremony this weekend.

Best Host: Jimmy Kimmel for Millionaire

And as Adam Nedeff mentioned on Facebook today, this makes Jimmy Kimmel the first game show host to win an Emmy for two different game show formats (not counting reboots of the same game.)

Millionaire is also the first game show in history to have three Emmy award winning hosts.

Since we're counting the earlier Daytime Emmy game show categories, Jeopardy! is now the only show to win the Emmy for Outstanding Game Show six consecutive years…twice (1990-1995 and now 2020-2025).
