Four openings doesn't seem like enough.

Didn't even think about the network staff announcers, some of which I imagine go back to the days of radio and also did soaps. So they knew the proper way to enunciate based on the situation.

Pardo, Howell and Wendall were announcing game shows up to the 70s. Bern Bennett goes way back to BTC and TTTT with Bud Collyer.

John Cannon did IGAS for years, but I'm not aware of him doing anything else.

Many outside the L.A. market may be unaware that for years, Charlie O'Donnell was the local news anchor for KCOP.

The B&E shows used to originate from a larger, adjacent studio at KCOP.

Lloyd Thaxton did a syndicated musical show from an even smaller studio at KCOP, where he badly lip-synced tunes and accompanied himself on the piano.

Syndicated Beat the Odds with Johnny Gilbert also came from KCOP.
